I discovered her music only recently and am deeply moved to find out she has passed away. I was envisioning her life while listening. Lhasa has long been a favorite artist, though I was only familiar with her Spanish songs. I only discovered this performance a few nights ago. I listened to it over and over, weeping silently, uncontrollably. Her voice, the song, her delivery, the backing musicians...all sublime. At once heartbreaking and uplifting. I think I could listen to this forever.
I just realized the irony when she says "I can wait another year or 2..." I didn't know of her when she was alive. but I have been enamoured of her since she died. what a fabulous spirit. I truly love this person.

I just found this artist and am so moved by her powerful, soulful voice. Then I try to find possible venue or tour dates only to discover she has been gone from us for 13 years now. So tragic but so beautiful. Her spirit lives on.
