    INGREDIENTS:

    One and half medium Tomato, chopped
    Half diced Onion
    2 tbsp of Cashews
    1 inch stick of Cinnamon
    2 cardamom
    Ginger, 2 medium sized pieces
    Garlic, 2 or 3 cloves
    (or use 3 Tbsp of Ginger garlic paste)
    3 Tbsp of Butter, or as per taste
    1 Tbsp of Chili Powder, or as per taste
    Dried Kasuri Methi(Dried Fenugreek) Leaves, 1 Tbsp (Optional)
    Cumin Powder, 1Teaspoon (Optional)
    Coriander Powder, 1 Teaspoon (Optional)
    Salt, as per taste
    400gm/1 Lb of Paneer, cut into 1 inch cubes. (Vegans can use Tofu)
    2 Tbsp of Heavy Cream, or as per taste
    Cilantro, chopped for garnish (Optional)

    Paneer Butter Masala is a very popular North Indian dish. Paneer is indian cottage cheese which is similar in consistency to Tofu.In the United States, Paneer is also called Farmer's cheese.
    The main reason for doing a pot in pot pressure cook is to eliminate the possibility of the "Burn" message.
    After you make the gravy and before you add the paneer, you can take out a potion of the gravy out and freeze it for later use. Alternatively you can use tofu/grilled chicken for making a different variation of the dish.
    This dish goes very well with Butter Naans. It can also be had with rice, chapatis and tortillas as well.

    I appreciate the high production value in the new video. You should still do an overview of all the ingredients before you start to cook like your previous videos.
    Helps me gather everything before I start cooking.
    Otherwise your recipes are spot on. From the quantity to the timings I match everything and my family loves what I end up with. Keep putting more videos! Cheers.

      Yes I still do a list breakdown when there are a lot of ingredients but what we have noticed is that people are skipping over the ingredients portion in the video to get to the recipe.So we started eliminating the ingredients shot to keep the video more "efficient". Will definitely do a ingredient shot for more complicated recipes. 🙏🏼

    One secret ingredient need to add to this recipe is 1 tbsp of milkmaid ie condensed milk which makes more tastier butter massla

    If I make it a few hours before my dinner party, how do I keep the gravy from thickening and keeping it at the right consistency?

      It will not thicken if left in a cool dry place.

      Niteen Junnarkar yes absolutely. You can even use the same gravy the next day and instead of paneer use tofu or grilled chicken as a different recipe!
