- ABANDONED STORAGE UNIT- THEY LEFT MONEY! My wife and I Bought an abandoned storage locker.This was an exciting storage unit, while unboxing all the stuff left behind by the owner we found cash money in the pocket of a jacket. We were so excited searching through this storage unit it was like a real treasure hunt it was so fun.
Steph, I love your money dance. I once found $120 in the pocket of a pair of $2.00 thrift store Jean's. My daughter found $20 in the pocket of a pair of jean shorts. Hoo-hoo, we were both dancin.

I think it all started when as a little girl my mother would take us to rummage sales to look for bargains. Now I'm hooked!
Always check the pockets and socks! I used to hide 100s in books for emergencies. My grandmother hid her bills in her clean socks and my father in law hid his money in the back and underside of dresser drawers.
I used to his my stuff in the toe of my walking boots. Lost a pair of keys when I moved house .... a whole month the other people in the house where having to let me in 🙈

I helped a friend that needed some furniture for his first apartment…we went to goodwill and I bought him a few things to get him situated……the tall boy dresser we got, we were moving it in and the top drawer fell out..there was an envelope taped to the bottom of it…..there was 5 $100 bills in it! We couldn’t believe it! It bought him a new flat screen tv for his apartment!
I just love the two of you. Im sure that money was there because you’re just really good people. Things come to you all the time. They may be small, but they add up. You have such good attitudes...so much positive energy. You work your buns off. Life is always going to provide for you, because you find joy in what you do....and you don’t stand around with your hands out waiting for someone to give you something. I didn’t intend to say all of this but I’m so happy for the two of you. I too was in a relationship for 20 years. I still love him dearly but it fell apart. I watch how you are together and how you treat each other. I really think you’ll be picking garbages in your 80’s. It’ll just be the neighbors, because you’ll be slowing down by then ha ha. It’s interesting to watch you uncover all kinds of treasures. I’d love to do that. It would be so much fun. It makes me sad, though, to see how material things become so trivial when seeing what were treasured by the owners, yet are insignificant to them now for whatever reason. I always wonder who the previous owners were & why they left their things in storage. I really don’t mean to sound negative, but it does sadden me. I’m glad the items can be sold and used by others. I love watching your videos. You two work together so well.

I gave away a jacket to a friend some time ago, after a few days I remembered I had taken my gold earrings off and saved them someplace, guess what? They where in the jacket pocket !!!! Luckily my friend returned them to me ❤️❤️❤️

Great find! That tote full of sports things was another good find. In Michigan, we have a chain of used sports goods stores called "Play It Again Sports" where I've sold pairs of roller blades for $12 each. The best part was I'd found them in a second-hand store dumpster in the same strip mall! :D

The wooden spool is for threads of all kinds. Lots of people use them as candle holders, letting various colors drip down. It makes the holder look beautiful!!

Yes! I hide my stuff and my money there! Sometimes I tape my money to the under-side of drawers. Burglars can find almost any hidey hole but they never find anything taped to the under side or a drawer ...or money I have taped to the backside of a picture frame 🖼
I also hide things from everyone in the battery compartment of my laptops ✌️✌️✌️

I’ve sold several True Religion jeans, just like the one you found, and all of mine went for $40-$$75 and were used. They’re over $200 in the stores.

The wooden items are old mill bobbins. We used to rep a company that would wholesale them. They work in a farmhouse/country style decor as candle holders.

Wooden spools for thread. Commonly found where they had textile mills. Great for taper style candles!
They are bobbin spools from woolen mills.
I use them to hold candles.

I once bought a official Raiders parka style several types of jacket in one from a 2nd hand store. Worth a hundred bucks back then easily. I got it home and was going to wear it and felt something inside the inner jacket chest poker. It was $1700.00 .. I bought the jacket for $45.00. Talk about a score.
Never drink from a foreign opened bottle...could be deadly.

You all have to check EVERYTHING!!!! Some stuff is antique, some stuff are collectors and if you can fit money in it (Dollars or Change) chances are you can find money in it!!! I've seen some where people have bought units and found money in picture frames, gift bags, shoes, cd cases, flash lights where the batteries go etc!!! You name it... There's been money!!! Otherwise even just the stuff people get flip it and sell it makeing 3-4x + the money they invested into the units!!! Not to mention antique or gold jewelry with genuine gems... You have to price check EVERYTHING!!! Best of luck on your treasure hunts... Stay blessed...☺️☺️☺️👍👍

Info on the Iron Order Maidens plaque. Iron Order is a motorcycle club. The maidens are the ladies affiliated with that club. I think it is so awesome that you guys donate so much of what you find so that it can be used. You two are a fun to watch.
The brown ceramic thing is a Garlic Roaster... you put whole heads of garlic in there and pop it in the oven.
At 10:00 the ceramic thingy is a microwavable cooking pot. I use mine to cook eggs and rewarm individual servings of leftovers too!😎
They are also oven useable and can cook hot things too. Tend to be older.
It's important for us to know how much you paid for the storage units you get. Helps for us to see how much of a profit or not.

When my grandpa died my dad and uncle went through his stuff. They found stashes of money in clothes and in the toes of shoes. Also in books. He lived through the depression and I think he was mostly trying to save money by hiding it.

Love you are buying storage units. My X husband an I buy unit together. Two days ago we went to a Petco that was going out of business an after watch so many of your vids I told him we should look at the dumpster We found a dumpster full of toys. Was so excited however with in minutes a undercover SDPD come up to us in a unmarked vehicle an asked us to leave. It was really embarrassing but fun at the same time. My X Husband is an ESQ so would not look good on his record to get a ticket for going through a dumpster LOL...Think we will stick to storage units
