I see what you mean but when I do hip thrust I like to keep my glutes under tension the whole time, so I usually don’t go all the way down. You would usually call this KAS glute bridge!
@@Daryl-Von ruclips.net/video/b7K-_uoyngM/видео.html Here's a great video on hip thrusts, not that they are bad just that there are other more effective options. I like that you elevate your front foot on the smith machine lunges. I would be interested in knowing how much more you feel the effects/soreness of doing 4-6 sets of smith lunges like this... 1- reduce the weight in half 2- move your back leg back much further 3- focus most the work on the front leg with the back just being used for balance 4- increase your ROM all the way down with slow control until the back knee touches, pause for one second, then power up explosively. P.S. Many of "Renaissance Periodization" videos have both colorful/off jokes and language but the guy, Dr. Mike, is super honest and experienced. I was a certified trainer at a Snap Fitness for about 14 years and can tell you seem to enjoy exercising and have good discipline, good for you!
I think you might want to try barbells again, I've heard the best strength comes from that instability aspect of the free weights. The most jacked and stacked dense and girthy monsters of mass always use barbell. Just my 2centz.@@Daryl-Von
Great workout! Keep making progress. 💪💪
Thank you!
great workout!
You would do well by searching some videos of form/Technique especially on the very
limited of range hips thrusts.
Bulgarian split squats which she almost did in the smith machine (I prefer raw barbell) is massive for glutes

@@SuperStructI like to do it on the smith machine so I don’t have to worry about my balance. Doing it this way helps me feel it more in my glutes!
