Almost every other video and article on this topic only talks about meat stored at deep freezer temperatures so thank you for not only including info about over fridge models temperature ranges, but also safety. I was looking for the time ranges for safety and quality on a model that averages more like 10-15f and so far this is the only one I've found.
My grandparents were hunters and my Grandma told me why they could store meat for many years with no effect on the quality. She said they dont clean the meat until they prepare it stating that once its cleaned it shortens the life span due to the contact with water. We had moose meat for over 3 years and was just as good as when they first killed it. She claimed that the cleaning of the meat then freezing it will cause freezer burn to occur over time but does not happen when you freeze it uncleaned.

When you freeze something, the water inside expands, and the cell walls break down, leading to mushy and watery food. But frozen food is still consumable *LITERALLY FOREVER!*
last week I ate some snaggers that were over 5 yrs past use by date cooked em up, they were a bit dry but otherwise ok if they did smell I would have binned them
Wow a 4 or 5 year old Pork Roast is still good, and here I was about to panic about a 1year Jenny-O frozen Turkey. I'm still skeptically about eating it though. I throw a lot out at expiration date or even used by date. Great tips especially the ones about not using storage bags in the freezer.
Ms Iam Everythang ....... If it's use by date you can cook it now or freezer it! I don't know about expired ? May or may not still be good! If it looks good or don't smell bad? Or call your meat 🍖 department in the store or Google it! Of course if in doubt throw it out! I don't buy expired meat unless it's for that day and must be use of cooked when I get home! Ya the best but date is okay it's gives a little more time to cook or freeze but don't wait to long after that date! ??? Hope that was some help? 😃 I just took frozen chilli out of my freeze with 2016 date it's now December 2019! I have cooked ground beef with leafy vegetables and spices in a freezer zipper bag in a deep freezer for a whole year. Is it safe to be eaten after all that time?!
The date in grocery stores is a "Best By" date *NOT* a "consumed by" date. Food can be frozen indefinitely and is still consumable, *LITERALLY FOREVER!* All food in grocery stores is labelled with a BB date and can be eaten *AFTER* the BB as long as it has not spoiled. The includes Non-Frozen shelf food. Grocery stores generally do not sell food past the BB date because they have quality control. This *does not* mean that the food is gone bad after that date. There are a lot of resellers that will sell food at discounted prices _past_ the BB date.
I use my older meats in stews. They taste pretty darn good cooked all day in a pot of vegetables. Even spaghetti meats do fine and hard to tell its older.
It was actually nice to actually see straight to the point didn't say their name they didn't talk about their life story they didn't say like or subscribe all that other round about Mickey Mouse stuff.
thanks just saw some beef patties in the freezer and the best by date was 2 months ago. so they're safe but quality wont be prime. wont over order from butcher box again

According to the swedish health minestry deep frozen food at-4 F. ( or-20c) is ok even after many years. As long as the freezer os intact and work well food can last almost for ever. And that is all sorts of food.

Thank you so much I'm getting ready to cook a pot roast and it's been in my freezer for 3 months, I washed it off with some apple vinegar, and popped it into the oven, i was kind of scared, because my grandchildren is coming over to eat Sunday ,I don't want them to get food poisoning🥺🥺
Rafiqmlmohammedrafiq Rafiq they should be fine for up to 7 years, however if you are looking to use them for ritual purposes you need to perform the rite within 7 days as on the 8th day the last remnants of the animals soul energy will have been evacuated back to the underworld. For summoning rites you probably want to act with either fresh goat organs or possibly 2 days old at the most because you need to holy corrin to be in tact and vibrating at an optimal spiritual flux. Hope that helps, hail the dark one.
So straight forward. What a rarity

Thank you so much. The info you provided was exactly what I was looking for.🤗
Freezing causes water to expand. The cells walls break down and turns food to mush, thus changing the texture and flavor.
