  • When we sell a tractor, we always do a "walk around" with each tractor. We do this to let customers know where to perform daily checks, grease, and basic operation techniques. This series of videos is intended to refresh that information for our customers. Several more of this type of video is posted on our channel. Look for your model and check it out. We hope this helps owners have more knowledge about their tractor. Please make sure to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to see all our new videos as they come out. Thanks!

    I have an LS 3033H it's a 2014. Only issue i have had was a pipe that runs under the transmission and after a lot of going back and forth with the dealer in Missouri and them talking with LS in the Carolina they found the one I needed but I had to purchase other ones i didn't want to get the one I needed. The pipe was for the return of hydraulic oil to the filter and got a pin hole where a bracket is welded. I kept the old one to see if I can have it fixed just incase this one does it again. I bought the tractor in Florida and at that time had never heard of LS. We looked at John Deere, Kubota and Bobcats but the LS had great options for the price.

      Thanks! So glad someone from THE MOTHER SHIP approves! You guys have always been so good to us, as a dealer! Many customers don't understand that without support from the manufacturer, even a good dealer can't help much. We try to be one of your best servicing dealers and LS Tractor has done their part to help us succeed. Thanks!!! Chris Murphy

    I am loving my new LS MT235e. Incredible walk around.
    One question I hope you can help with. That ever important fuel tank strainer. Any pointers on how to retrieve it from inside the tank? These wonderful new fuel can spouts! Needing 4 hands, I slipped, and the nozzle pushed the strainer into the tank.

      I have seen many folks have luck with a coat hanger, but as cheap as they are, I would simply replace it. If you ever have to remove or clean the tank, it will be much easier to remove when the tank is taken off the tractor.

    Are the M573 planatary differential?

    • @MurphyBrothersTradingCo
      @MurphyBrothersTradingCo  9 месяцев назад

      The MT573 does have what I call "outboard" planetaries. Most smaller units run "drop" planetaries.

    We're looking at that model and interested in buying it. I am wondering if the 3 point articulates horizontally so you can angle your box blade (or whatever else)? Thanks for the video, one of if not the best videos on this model.

      Not hydraulicly. You can adjust the right side lift arm and both lift arm pin holes. You should look at the new MT242E or HE. I LOVE the new Yanmar engine. We've sold Yanmar excavators with similar engines since 2015. We haven't had 1 single issue... emissions or otherwise! SWEET! I like the new styling as well, but love the new stabilizers set up! Check then out. If you're in my area, we have them. 0% for 96 month finance in June!

      @@MurphyBrothersTradingCo Sir, I would buy from you in a heartbeat, very knowledgeable and informative! We don't live anywhere near there though. We actually bought the MT242HE. What a rig! We should get it in about a week or two. Thanks for all your help, very appreciated.

    Great video. Just bought the HE version. Question, how do I get the speedometer to work? Thanks

      I will look tomorrow, but I am 99.9% positive there is no speedometer on a MT240. If I find out differently, I will reply back.

    Thanks for the info. I have a 2023 MT235e and would like to ask do y'all have any trouble with the codes coming up. I have 13 hrs. on the tractor and have a 27 F08 code, is there a way to find what the codes mean? The shop manager at the dealer said he thought it was an EGR valve.

    • @MurphyBrothersTradingCo
      @MurphyBrothersTradingCo  7 месяцев назад +1

      The S27 F08 code is certainly EGR related. I suggest taking it to your dealer. It could mean the egr was faulty from the beginning or as simple as a bad connection or ground. Again, I strongly suggest taking it to the dealer. Thanks!

      Thank you Sir for the info and I will do that. I am still thinking about trading for the MT225e so I do not have the computer, regen, and codes to deal with. The tractor is 2023 maybe I won't lose too much in the trade. Thanks again@@MurphyBrothersTradingCo

    • @MurphyBrothersTradingCo
      @MurphyBrothersTradingCo  7 месяцев назад +1

      The MT225E models do still have EGR valves, but no computer. I doubt I would trade for a bad EGR. Not this early, anyway. @@user-ie6xu7bg7t

      Thanks for the info I'll work with it while it is under warranty. I hope all goes well nice tractor but if I had it to do all over I would have gone with the MT225E instead. I wanted it to start with but got talked into the more horsepower.@@MurphyBrothersTradingCo

      I need to correct this. The MT225E/HE does NOT have an EGR valve. My mistake and sorry.

    is a box blade enough counter weight when using loader??

    • @MurphyBrothersTradingCo
      @MurphyBrothersTradingCo  Год назад

      It really depends on what you're doing with the loader. Heavier loads in loader would require Heavier counterweight rear. Also note a box blade doesn't stick very far behind the tractor. The closer the counter weight is to the back of the tractor the heavier it needs to be. A longer implement will have an impact through leverage.

      Don’t skimp when it comes to safety. Put the ballast in the tires and be done with it.
