Good question. The honest answer is: Probably not anytime soon. Opera does not support the Speech Recognition part of the Web Speech API. The only browsers that support it are Chrome and Edge. Edge only started supporting it about a year ago. Browsers that support the Speech Recognition part of the Web Speech API need to create servers that are able to process the speech to text. I don't see Opera being able to do that anytime soon.
