Almost 20 years later, and we're still watching Bobek. She was one of a kind. This era of figure skating really produced so many iconic skaters that had a spark. Look at how the people leaped out of their seats. Ironically, nowadays, we see clean programs and people clap, but not so many standing ovations. For all her faults, skaters today could learn tons from Nicole on how to sell a performance and make it memorable. Unreal, this short program has a 20-year shelf life, and counting. Long live the Bobek!
RIDICULOUSLY talented. God, she was great, the female Christopher Bowman. Really hope she can get her life together, she has too much to offer the skating world. We love you, Nicole!

WOW.. That was such a fantastic program. Very exciting. I've been watching skating since 1976, but this is one great program. Great music selection and wonderful footwork at the end.
She is also one of the few ladies to carry speed out of the double toe in the combinations. Her combination at the 1995 Worlds Short Program (which she won) is spectacular. Flutz, schmutz. Lol.

i love her costumes she had very well designed costumes they remind me the Bolshoi costumes

the footwork and ending is VERY similar to surya bonaly's 92 short program to zorba the greek. hmm...
