Ordered a pair of Xero Dillons before my trip to Belize. My 3rd pair of Xero shoes. The Dillons served me well, stylish but still able to explore Mayan ruins with a broke toe at that! So glad I have Xero shoes, really love them. Have wide feet & high arches & they are very comfortable for me.

That link doesn't work for me, not sure why. It starts to open a window and then closes immediately,
Well, it's like ... nice and all, but I like your orange and bleu shoes, man...
I feel like everyone should be able to get custom shoes made to fit their foot. i wish it just the normal thing
I am being treated for cuboid syndrome by a PT. I find my foot feels better when I walk barefoot. Many podiatrists recommend orthotics. What are your thoughts?
The only shoes that fit me are the Ultra Lone Peaks. Wide toe box still isn't wide overall most of the time.
Used your link they have no stock
What shoes do you like for power walking?
That sensation in the heel that you describe has been my experience with 99% of footwear my entire life. I’m the queen of slippy heels. In my case it has been described as “narrow heels” and it makes shoe shopping a nightmare. Those heel pad dealios don’t fix it and also don’t stay put. I swear I need to make my own shoes.
its NOT a review without on foot footage
First off, I appreciate the full disclosure (whether you're legally obligated to disclose it or not). But I'm curious how you can be an owner, own shares, and never see a profit from that. Getting coupons is no different than a loyalty program. And just based on the verbiage of them using the word "owner," and that you own stock in the company, that's probably grounds for a class action lawsuit.
I bought a pair of Xero HFS Running shoes 3 months ago and really love them 🙂 They have just a bit more cushioning than my Merrill Vapor Gloves but I still have good feel for the ground. I'll be sure to use your link for my next pair😊
Thanks for the review, my first Xero shoe was the Zelen and I love them.
I really like the look and styling of the Xero Dillon. I'm wondering if this is an actual barefoot shoe or a minimalist shoe. I wasn't able to find an answer on the website.
Thank you for another thorough in-depth review. I still always choose my Runamocs over anything else but my teenage sons prefer to look a little less flashy at school and Xeros are probably a better fit for that reason. Plus they kind of like a little bit of cushion for those school floors and stairs.
Do you actually have EE feet? I can't wear Vivos or Lems or most minimalist shoes because they're made for normal width feet. I've been successfully wearing Freets. I know Softstars are also good for wide high volume feet. Xeros I've tried aren't wide enough for me.
I'm glad you shared this. I don't think that flat heel will work for me. I like a natural foot roll now that I've been wearing barefoot shoes for a year.
Fyi, I wore Freet Feldoms all winter for walks and hikes and they're incredibly comfortable and grippy for hiking on uneven surfaces. I have also found their Cittees, Pace, and Flex to be very free and comfortable and great for around town. Their Richmonds have a very uncomfortable heel seam that creates blisters so avoid them.Freet shoes are well made and totally minimalist but with some style. They're not Vivos, but the next best thing for wide feet. And they're all about $100 or so.
I couldn't bring myself to wear Softstars outside of the house. Maybe it's an east coast thing. Lol They're just a bit loud and puffy for me. But, they look very comfy.
I wear softstar dash runamoc in wide size. I have tried their regular width and it's too narrow. Xero's current offerings are all wide enough for me. The prio several years ago stopped being wide enough, but all their recent iterations seem to be fine for my feet.
For what it's worth, all my hockey skates when I used to play were always in wide sizes.
Thanks for the video, how is the durability of the upper material on the Dillion?
I’ve always liked the look of xero shoes, but despite several attempts they are just way too narrow for my feet. (To be fair most other barefoot shoe companies are as well. My husband and tapered foot kids wear them just fine; me and the other extra wide square toed kids look elsewhere…)
What brand of shoe fits your feet?
I live in tikki sandals as long as I can (Wisconsin, US), then switch to Everleigh Meadows in their extra wide, full splay style. I also have a pair of old style Lems Primal 2’s that are doable with all the insoles removed but not ideal. I’m sure a custom soft star order would work, but that is always way out of my price range. In a 37/38 depending on brand, my feet are over 10cm wide at the ball and then get wider at the toes. It felt like a miracle discovering Everleigh Meadow - affordable, and even though ridiculous looking to others, actually the shape of my foot! Sorry I can’t really be of more help - I can tell you lots of brands that DON’T work, not so many that do…
It's interesting you mention the arch support in your Lems Primal. I have Lems Chillum and I always thought I was imagining feeling some arch support. But after watching your video, and looking at the shoe again, there's a tiny bit of arch support! I don't like it honestly.
I am looking into possibly buying my first ever pair of barefoot shoes, but your affiliate links are broken! I'd love to support your channel as you have really changed everything about how I treat my body when its in pain and how I care for myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I recently got Splay sneakers and like them so far. Also much cheaper than any other brands I looked into for us Canadians. Canadians typically get screwed over with the shipping, customs/duty fees and currency conversions (US or Euro) which ends up putting most of these canvas sneakers well over $200 (CAD) or over $250 (CAD) even. And it's not like we get payed more, in fact cost of living is higher then in the US generally speaking.
yikes! glad the splays worked out!
I got my Xero Ptios for 120 Cdn last year from Cool East Market in Toronto On. This year they're 143. Lequano's North american distributor is in Oakville On.
@@kerryrwac If they have what you're looking for and in stock it's not a bad option, considering..
Shoot darn! They’re sold out and the primal zen are out in my size! Ah, well. Will check back later. 😂
Thank you...the shoe doesn't look cumbersome... I'll try the shoe...I seem to walk better and more balanced when i walk bare-footed...I love the feeling of not having My feet restricted in shoes 💕
Hey! Great video! :) I ordered them and they are a bit too narrow for me, for me the best barefoot show was the Vivobarefoot Geo Racer II, can you recommend me a shoe because the vivos have becomming too narrow and longer in their shape. Greetings!
Are these good for squatting? I'd like one barefoot shoe for both casual use and leg workouts.
Thankyou so much for comparing to the Lems Primal Zen! Just what I was looking for 😊
Great explanation and very good review, keep up and thanks!!
I'd be interested in a review of Saguaro barefoot shoes. They're about 1/2 the price of the Xero shoes.
Thank you for talking about shoes. I have been mesmerized by you blue and orange shoes.
It's good to see the shoe from a lot of angles and in use, and in comparison to other brands. Much thanks
nice review.. anw I prefer Dillon in black colour
Vivo barefoot shoes all look so cool, very modern and stylish
Would these work for squats and deadlifts?
Zero Dillon are sold out but will be getting a different style.
Dillons are back in stock. Thanks! :)
Thank you for talking about the grip of the shoe.
They are currently out of stock. 😢
What size are you?
damn you know your shoes
Hell Doctor Matt you are great.
So which shoe would you recommend for Tai chi.
I am 6 foot, weigh about 180 and have a high arch. Take class one hour per week and practice every other day for 20 minutes.Regular sneakers not the best for Tai Chi
Any help is appreciated..thanks for the video
These dillons are great for tai chi, vivo barefoot primal 3 is good too
Love my Xero Prio
I liked these when I first got them but they got so filthy so fast. I think I gotta go leather on white shoes only now
by me too, they got unbelievable filthy when it was a bit wet on the streets lol
Thank you for introducing me to Xero Dillons. Have had my first pair for a week and can’t believe how good I feel! I’m not quite ready to completely give up my more cushioned sneakers, but I wore them for half my daily step goal and still feel great.
Nice! Happy to hear you've had a good experience!
That is not a wide toebox.
Are you speaking from experience or because it visually doesn't look wide? From wearing it, the toe box is plenty wide for my wide feet.
@@Uprighthealth I bought a pair of Xero and compared to something like vivobarefoot or Belenka, yes they feel narrow.
I am curious about what do you think about the Brazilian barefoot: feetoftomorrow.
Probably difficult, but would like to listen yours oppinion...
