Let's fucking go. Another Matus drop. Good to see you back. So excited for this project to finally finish. What's your plan for this bike once it's complete?
I'm gonna make em and sell em of course!!! Ah but more specifically, I'll test this one out quite a bit and implement any necessary design updates into phase II, and phase II will probably be the first one I offer for sale. The jigs and fixtures will make it much quicker to build more of them.
Wait, you're going for production?! Holy crap! I would love one of those! On a side note, if you ever want to come up to Everett and see what a Honda Helix feels like to ride around on, hit me up. Just remembered "Wait a minute, he's in Seattle, and I'm in Everett. He'd actually be able to test a recumbent motorscooter like that, wouldn't he?".
Yup that's right, definitely going to be producing these. Part of the reason it's taking longer is planning & designing for scale and manufacturability and building all those jigs and fixtures. I'd definitely be interested in trying a helix out - though I don't make it up to everett too often, but I'll reach out if I'm going to be in there area! Thanks!
Maths is back! Great score on the MIA vintage belt sander,
Turned out awesome. Coming together!
