Unless you're joking , I think the reason they don't attack the attacker (sally out) is because the attackers usually outnumber them , so they decided to fight in the protection of the walls safe from archer fire (most of the time)

You have to turn this into a real series. This has so much potential, like having multiple factions and characters, Game of Thrones in Minecraft. I know it’s a lot of hard work, but it could turn out great.

I remember playing in a hardcore medieval RP server with Stykernag and Cakeski. Miss those times. The server was all about realism and gritty darkness. You'd start as a lowly peasant in a dirt hut, build your character over the weeks and maybe- just maybe get a glimpse of better life if you played out all the politics well. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that you have payed very good attention to how an army would actually attack. First come up and survey the defenses, get siege weapons ready, and use them to knock holes in the defense. Then, push up the siege weapons and attack! Also LOVE the formations and different unit types, as well as 1v1s and main characters. Love the marching of armies too!
Cavalry with the cleanup tactic, I actually think that Cavalries are very crucial in war bcause they can attack and wipe out the archers swiftly if they use their environment to their advantage with an element of surprise -New subsciber.
hi ik this is late but we all know cavalry is crucial in open field battle but in a siege cavalry is useless until the gate is broken down but in a long term siege then cavalry are pretty much just sitting ducks for the archers on the walls to shoot ~~~ A random potato
@@JustBready68 While cavalry, offensively in a siege is not very important, their horses are, especially with long sieges which are ran mostly by either long supply lines or the scavenging of food from the immediate area, food especially becomes scarce when the enemy uses Scorched earth tactics. Cavalry in this situation would hw used to escort convoys of food and materiel (such as siege engines, or in the later part of the medieval period til pretty much ww2 artillery).

I low key want to see more variety of weapons like spears, maces, polearms, war hammers in Minecraft. I’m kinda getting tired of the same old sword, but ik it’s gonna be difficult to make it since they’re long weapons. What they could do is make it so they’re is 3 separate pieces to craft and combine them in the crafting table.
Big variety of soldiers and their equipment is good, but bigger variety soldiers = more soulstones in inventory = slowed down video production. In Minecraft Mojang won't add more types of weapons anytime soon, I think.
Imagine Minecraft with 1000vs1000 NPC's in battle like this + distant horizons + realistic world gen mods could acually be amazing, with realistic formations and battle lines, the scale would be epic.

Great work there ! There's definitely a vibe of medieval Total War :') Some stuff could be improved (registering voices could add a lot to those moment when characters arround the tabble discuss tactic, but do not say anything). But overall it is really great ! The camera angles are good and I appreciate that you went for realistic armors and weapons and not fantasy ones. I'm impressed that all was done with NPC's, it should have taken a lot of time ! How many were you to realise this project?
I regret that I didn't count hours of work when I was creating this video, but it was one of the most time consuming movies that I ever made. It is hard to find perfect voices from video games, I can't find ideal speeches to all situaions, so it forced me to use subtitles. Thank you for opinion.

Set bigger size in "display", next still in "display" click "edit" ---> "scale" and decrease scale of every part of npc. Next in "advanced" ---> "job" set "Puppet", at the end set "While Walking: Yes", "While Attacking: Yes", "Head, Body, L. Leg and R. Leg" ---> Disable. In "L. Arm and R. Arm" set XYZ in correct possition to make them realistic. Probably on 1.12.2 it is a bit different.

Oblężenie to czekanie aż się poddadzą a to by było nudne. Z drugiej strony próba poprawiania ludzi to zawracanie kijem Wisły.) i druga część wyszła przy okazji, więc szykuje się seans na miarę powrotu króla. Piszę po polsku bo widziałem pod jednym filmem że też z Polski jesteś a nic tak nie ogrzewa serca jak miły komentarz od rodaka, nieprawdaż ?
