I understand both ways really. I do wish that she was better at receiving compliments though. I’m not good at receiving compliments either so I can’t say a whole lot. 😆 I understand her wanting to remain humble and not be an arrogant asshole too. It’s a little complicated I suppose. 🤷🏼♀️

That’s pretty much like most British & Asian people, receiving compliments is not their forte. And that’s ok, keeps us grounded….

Kelly has no ego about it but her voice is incredible. So clear and strong, nothing like the nasal moaning we now consider normal. She really does sing a lot of songs better than the original.

I actually just discovered Lainey Wilson and like you Kelly, I'm obsessed. I remember when Garth Brooks first hit in Country music, he had some great songs, but it wasn't until he had is first television special on NBC that we got to see what an amazing performer he was and he exploded in all genre's of music, Lainey Wilson reminds me of him, in that way. LOVE her

I loved Kelly Clarkson’s version of Heart Like a Truck that she did in Vegas! I wasn’t even really a fan of the song before, but I LOVED her cover of it! KC has this tendency of making me like songs, that I didn’t necessarily connect with before, after she sings them. Lainey is right about Kelly singing other artist’s songs better than they do (a lot of the time) too. So cool how these two talented and beautiful women are supporting each other by going to their shows! Women supporting women! 💚

I always try to watch The Kelly Clarkson Show when I can during the week when it is on. @Kellyclarkson and Lainey Wilson are great storytellers and singers. They both have a different style of storytelling which makes it more entertaining and interesting to watch them both on stage every single time they play either together or when they are performing with their own band members. 😊👍💕🦋❤️🎶🙌

KELLY, you're definitely singing many, many of these songs better than the artists lol. Pretty soon they won't allow you to cover them! Haha
I love it when Lainey makes a couple of very observant comments that refer to Kelly “just gettin’ up there and singin’ other people’s songs” and then later sticks it to this self-absorbed woman when Lainey says that of course Kelly sings other people’s songs better than they do. Lainey has Kelly figured out. Kelly actually loves loves the compliments about how her covers are so great and just maybe even better than the original. she’s always out to show other people up. And she never shuts up and lets the person talk. She always has to interrupt about herself.
I’m sure im not the only one who thinks the ozempic weight loss was extreme. She lost like 40lbs in two months.

Oh my gosh, Kelly let your guest talk. You are always interrupting them. Calm down and listen.
And stop trying to upstage them with your goddamn never ending covers. You only do them to show that you think you are better than them. You have a great voice, but I find you lack the emotion that many other singers have.
