How do you get the names on the channels

This is done by naming the channels on your mixer, and naming the groups in the "Library" portion of your mixer.

Is there a way to turn off the auto solo mode on the DP48? Very tough to fly blind in a performance when changing volume on one channel in a group.

I would recommend trying to set this up and save before going live. We recommend having a band play full through a gain check, and then an in ear mix. Takes about 10 minutes, and ensures everyone is as comfortable with the mixes as possible, and prevents the FOH or monitor engineer from making adjustments mid set.

@@stoneandoakaudio9856 Thank you for your response. Ideally that would be the case but sometimes you need individual adjustments mid set. I just played a wedding last night where I wanted the kick louder mid set. Gain can come up on vocal mics mid set and it can bury other parts of the kit. Midas doesn't make it clear that individual adjustments to channels with groups mutes everything else. It should be an optional feature because I want hear the level of the kick in comparison to vocals, etc. Its a major flaw with the product.

Hello .. How does dp48 set a and b channel sound separately?

    • @stoneandoakaudio9856

The inputs on the edit page are set the same for everyone. When you assign the inputs to the group, A and B have individual volume control. Unfortunately A and B cannot set different volumes for each input.

Do you have a video of how to hook this up to use with a Midas Pro2C with DL251 Stage Box?

We do not have a specific tutorial on your exact situation, however, Stone and Oak Audio is a Colorado based integration business working with Music Tribe Products (which includes Midas) and many other major brands. Visit our website and send us a contact over email to see if we can help with creating a configuration for your system.
