This version of Afton clearly understands how the supernatural stuff works in this universe very well
The device at the beginning that kills the not-Markiplier guard is an AGONY EXTRACTOR!!! Why else would it have those face blades and be so brutal
It also gives a reason why he'd be hiring so many guards just to kill them off, he's farming agony!
He also knows how to control the children via the drawings in the pizzeria
He also very purposefully puts his suit head back on before he dies, to ensure that he will possess the suit post death
This After is VERY knowledgeable about all the different supernatural mechanics of this world, this makes him a lot more dangerous, even (or especially) after his death

There's an issue with Mike's dad working at Freddy's at all though, which is that Mike knows nothing about the franchise at all. If his dad helped invent the robots then he'd surely know something about them
The Schmidts being the movie parallel to the Emilys would make a lot of sense for the movie’s continuity.
Perhaps Nebraska was where Fredbear’s Family Diner was located, where William’s son was killed by Fredbear. Perhaps Henry (Mike’s father in this case) designed the springlock suits, causing William to want to take revenge on Henry by kidnapping and killing his son.
Interesting point! Fredbear’s could possibly have been located in Nebraska! This is speculation, but it could possible! We’ll just have to wait and see!

So just a note, the engineer in the training tape is not Garret Heinz, its a small cameo from the actual lead engineer who worked on the movie animatronics.
I personally do believe the idea of the schmidts being an equivalent to the Emilys, but still important to clarify that

the biggest hole in this theory is mikes lack of recognition of freddy’s. if his dad worked there wouldn’t he have previous knowledge about the franchise/pizzeria? it all seems brand new to him when he gets there
he probably knew about the killing and never wanted mike to find about it
but the fact that mike does not know about the restaurant or the animatronics does not make sense , I mean its his father’s pride
@@GreeniePack. even still, mike was alive prior to the killings so if his dad was henry he would have probably spent a lot of time at the pizza place as a kid and theres an even better chance he would know vanessa if their fathers were friends
It might be a plot twist where Mike doesnt remember things right and has purposefully lied to himself to keep himself sane

I just don’t believe that William did not intend to kill Mike. I think it’s pretty obvious that he just wanted to either kill him at a specific time or wanted him to die at the hands of the animatronics like the last security guard. In fact Foxy is pretty obviously on his way to drag him off to the Torture machine when Mike chases his ghost down in the dream and Vanessa arrives and disrupts him.
You do have a point about the torture machine! However, this was used after Mike learned the truth about the animatronics. William told Vanessa that if he learned the truth, then he should be killed, so this still work off of what we says. Wanted Mike to survive while not learning the truth still work here. It doesn’t seem that William always wanted him to die.
Well you have to remember that the animatronics do try to stuff security guards into suits, thinking that they are endoskeletons as stated in the game. I dont think he was trying to kill mike there i think it was the suits thinking he was a suitless endo
The entire reason William sent him there was because he was technically a witness, he even gets SUPER nervous
@@ContemplatingSaturnthe suitless Endo thing was an offhand comment made by phone guy in FNAF 1. The phone guy also said some other incorrect things. Like how the foxy mechanic worked and about going limp and playing dead. He's not a reliable source of information.
For real life
Actually, if you watch Behind the Scenes interviews, the guy playing the mechanic was the one who actually supervised the actual building of the suits at Henson’s studios for Blumhouse. That’s why he wasn’t credited as the character. He was already credited for supervision, fabrication, and maintenance of the suits during production.
Ps. I do and don’t see how you can mistake him for the actor portraying Mike’s dad. Their faces are completely different, minus the facial hair being the common denominator.
The engineer is in the credits I believe. He was one of the actual technicians who made the animatronics for the movie sound a cameo.
Again, for the Movie I think it's an alter Cannon where Afton ended up with someone else so Mike and his Siblings had a different father, and William had a different Wife and Child.

Children for real life
I just looked on Google Maps, and it seems WAY more likely that the movie takes place in two states - North Dakota and Minnesota. East Grand Forks is called "East" Grand Forks because it is the eastern portion of Grand Forks, a city in North Dakota. Grand Forks lays on the border of Minnesota and North Dakota, so it would make much more sense if Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was in Grand Forks, while Mike and Abby live in East Grand Forks. Boom. Location solved.

My brain exploded. It makes so much sense because at the end credits, the music box song plays hinting the puppet will come back, and if the Schmidt's are tied to the Emily's then it makes just so much sense to me.

If this is a thing with the Schmidts being the Emily family then it’s interesting that the amount of children are flipped. Like instead of Henry having the 1 daughter in the movie William does and Henry has 2 sons when 1 daughter.
But henry emily actually had twins in the book, Charlotte or Charlie and Sammy (who I believe is still alive)

William Afton also has a beard. It could just as easily be William working on the Endo. The name Shmidt would be familiar to William as the kidnapping would have been all over the news and included the kids name.
This is a great theory! Though there is one thing I think might throw a wrench into it. When Mike first encounters spring bonnie, spring bonnie says "you couldn't just leave it alone, lucky me" this makes it sound like he's happy that he gets to kill Mike.
I could help a bit with the GFPD part. I actually live about fifty miles from EGF. It is a sister city located in Minnesota like you said. However if you cross the river to the west you would be in Grand Forks ND. It's very possible that Jane lives in EGF but Freddy's is located in Grand Forks and that's why it is in Vanessa's territory.
Videos like this one are so nostalgic, and so was the movie. I remember my buddy and I being obsessed with the franchise back in 2015-2018 and we listened to hundreds of theories.

That explains why Garrett doesn't try to escape the car as he knows probably knows Afton..
There is a reason the actor playing the engineer’s name isn’t in the credits. He’s actually a cameo from one of the actual creators of the animatronics for the movie. He’s from Jim Henson's Creature Shop. He’s not the same actor who plays Mikes dad. You can actually see him in some of the behind the scenes footage captured by some RUclipsrs that were on set. He demonstrates the Freddy head with blades in it.
I mean in the games Mike's last name was originally Afton, but he switched it to Shmidt so he could work at the fnaf 1 location. So maybe Mikes's dad could've done the same thing in this universe.

I love this theory! Its very possible! Another thing i was thinking about it maybe Mikes dads last name is Emily but Schmidt is his mothers name and the family took the mothers last name? William maybe knew him before he married and then after so he knows both last names. Thats my guess if they still wanna keep the Emily name but keep the Schmidts name to keep it ambiguous for the audience.
That could make sense. In the book henry actually had 2 children (but twins) Sammy and Charlotte. When Charlie died henry and his wife's marriage were strained and they got a divorce and the wife got custody of Sammy.

just personally, i see this as a swap of the families, as opposed to *just* allegoric to them, because it doesn't line up quite right in my head otherwise.
There's holes in the idea, such as what would make William snap down the path he went down, but if you see Garret as Evan, Vanessa as Charlie, and Mike and Abby as mike and Elizabeth, the narrative doesn't have to flip fully for it to make sense. William and Mike's father (from here on Henry) still go into working together, Charlie would still die, though in my head, as the bite victim where *garret* would become the puppet. If we take it as Garret being a late revenge, the reason Mike wouldn't know about freddy's is because Henry would've moved them out of state after the death of charlie, when Mike was too young to remember what his dad did, keep in mind, Freddy's was VERY successful, meaning Henry probably would've had the money to burn if he wanted to move away.
I wonder, is Henry’s last name confirmed to be Emily in the games? If not, the implications of Mike using the Schmidt last name would be wild.
No possibility of Garret possessing Balloon boy? He appears before Mike, and he gets into a car at the end, and Garret has a connection with cars.
Good question! I don’t think that the little Balloon Boy figure can’t be possessed as it’s simply a figurine without any mobility, however, it is possible that the actual balloon boy animatronic is possessed, but there is no real proof to support that.

My own theory when I watched the movie was Mike’s dad was actually Henry Emily. After Charlie was murdered he and his pregnant wife left town and moved to Nebraska where she gave birth and they regularly went camping with friends as their family grew up. Afton knew where they liked to camp and as revenge for abandoning the company Afton kidnapped Garret, having planned on grabbing both the boys but he couldn’t get to Mike without getting caught. I mean who would be most likely to have the ability to speak to the victims of William than the unborn sibling of two of the victims?
Maybe Golden Freddy is after William and he’s hoping that if Golden Freddy kills Mike instead he’ll move on as it’s likely hes posessed by Garret? I dunno about my last idea but I don’t think we can really rule much out for which direction the next movie will go. Maybe it will be revealed that there are two Mikes, Mike Schmitt who would have been Mike Emily, and Mike Afton, Vanessa’s brother
I think Balloon Boy is just meant to foreshadow the next movie tbh but I could be wrong

I believe that Mike’s younger brother is probably going to be Balloon Boy. I believe the reason we saw it twice in the pizzeria is because he wanted to see if it was truly his older brother Mike. And the reason we saw it get in the Taxi at the end, is because it knows the Taxi drove from Mikes house and probably wants to go there to reunite with his family.

I want Vanessa, Mike, Garrett, and Abby to all be Aftons in a way
William and Mrs Afton have a daughter named Elizabeth and a son named Mike, William wants to find the secret to preserving consciousness, meets Henry, learns about animatronics and computers, sees that Henry has the ability to create life, but not really through code, and he strives to understand that, ends up finding his version of that in remnant, by killing kids, he steals an animatronic of Henry’s and turns it into a kid harvesting machine like the others, the one he stole kills Elizabeth, he eventually makes multiple Elizabeth bits, including Vanessa, and I hope we also see Circus Baby as one of them
Now William isn’t just fighting to preserve himself, but his family too, the deeper into all of this he goes, the further away he really is with his family and his business partner Henry
Mrs. Afton leaves, and takes Mike with her, eventually she and Henry connect and marry, they have Garrett and then in one of Williams sprees he decides to kidnap Garrett along with the other MCI kids, Henry is distraught and leaves, not knowing she was pregnant with Abby, Mrs Afton either dies in childbirth or maybe at the hands of William and turned into Ballora, Abby and Mike are then on their own and eventually meet up with Vanessa, I think Garrett is the puppet (the golden Freddy only had a blue eye, I think this means the green eye was the crying child, who I think Garrett is in this films canon, but then, why doesn’t Garrett cry, why the airplane? These differences must mean something right?) if at some point we see Golden Freddy with a green eye, then Garrett is there, the “It’s Me” was on the mirror, so idk
Abby is puppet-coded, the way she brings all the animatronics together, they’re her friends, etc, it reminds me of the puppet mini games
Either way I think Mike’s memories have been altered either through trauma or William meddling
I think it’s more likely everyone but Vanessa are Henry’s kids, I think Vanessa is a robot which is why he didn’t feel bad about stabbing her, Elizabeth died already

Tbh that would make sense because there were no romantic implications between Vanessa and Mike, even though they are a male and a female character in a movie. If ive learned anything from watching movies, is that they WILL shove unecessary romance down your throat at any step they can, so the fact that they didnt might actually lead to a reveal that vanessa and mike are siblings
@@skyrat1896 the only thing that felt romantic was when Vanessa asked if he wanted to dance, imo that one line was meant to kinda be this trilogy’s version of the Luke and Leia kiss from Star Wars. Scott is a sci-fi fan after all, and he has made FNAF as a series sort of “rhyme” like Lucas has Star Wars rhyme
I'm pretty sure the mechanic was a cameo of someone who actually made props for the movie so that's why he didn't show up but I may be wrong.

I have a theory:
William and his wife are confirmed to have been divorced and that William cheated his way of custody of Elizabeth (Michael Afton's sister) so it's likely that Mike's father we see is actually his step father and William got custody of his daughter.
It lines up with Mike and Vanessa being about the same age, William’s reaction to knowing Mike's full name, his reason to kidnap and kill Gareth and him knowing about Mike being his brother.
Garrett, Mike and Abby are Henry's children or Mr. Schmidt

The mechanic is the real guy who made the customs for the movie. It's a cameo.

It was confirmed that the mechanic guy was a tech person for the movie
I believe balloon boy is one of Henry’s creations. In the books, there’s a genius inventor who turns regular wood into a moving creature. It’s implied this is a parallel Henry. This would explain balloon boy and Marionette type characters. There’s no children to posses them, nor are there any electronics or mechanical components.
The actor that played the mechanic was one of the puppeteers

I hope the 2nd movie takes place before the 1st movie and follows a security guard discovering Williams' backstory and it actually has William as the main villain. Could also make the 1st movie make more sense to casuals and make the "I always come back" line make sence.
It won't unfortunately, fnaf 2 is gonna be a sequel and not a prequel like in the games

If this is true, then which was the motive for William to abduct/kill Garrett? Also, is there a possibility that Garrett is maybe possessing the puppet? Lastly, thank you for covering up some things from the fnaf movie!

One main problem to this theory is that if Mike's dad would be the engineer (aka Henry in this universe), Mike would surely know about the existance of the Pizzeria, since his father worked there. Great video nonetheless
Well if in this universe Henry and William worked together before Freddy’s at a different animatronic pizza place he wouldn’t know of it
My theory is that Mike has had some experimentation done on him, memories modified in some way
Maybe he somehow ran off or something after the mothers death and then started working there
Very good, I was thinking the same thing about the robot technician and Mike's Dad but somewhere I saw a behind the scenes that said the tech was played by the head puppeteer, not the Mikes Dad actor. Think we're on the right track tho
As interesting as this is I find it strange that Mike wouldn’t know anything about Freddy’s if his dad worked there when he was little
I think it’s possible he wouldn’t remember. Mike has a big trauma of his brother being taken away very young and possibly whatever happened to his dad so it’s very possible he doesn’t remember certain details about his childhood (which also makes sense since a similar thing happens to the animatronics with the whole not remembering what happened to them thing) Also id imagine after the deaths of the children happened the dad either left, stopped talk about freddy’s, or took his own life. So it’s not like it’d be talked about any other time. I can definitely imagine some sort of scene where mikes given a picture that shows he actually HAS been to like fredbears before and completely losing it remembering certain traumatic details about his dad.

I'd say the animatronic being worked on in the scene is actually the springlock suit for this doll thingy, since the middle part looks exactly the same (which idk if it makes sense, but it really really does look the exact same)

Honestly nah I think he just happened to be in the same place as Mike when he took his brother, and just recognized the name and potentially saw a resemblance years later.
Also Balloon Boy is just a spooky reference.
I like the parallel ideas, but we need to also remember that there has been years since Garret got taken and perhaps William lived in Nabraska at the time

sorry but BB is almost definitely the puppets calling card. i would also go so far as to say that the puppet is the one cleaning up after the kids
I think it’s been confirmed that Vanessa was the one doing the cleaning up.
She’s also in the police department meaning she could more easily hide the deaths the animatronics kill more easily than the puppet.

Here's my FNaF Movie Theory.
The Schmidts are the Emilys in hiding. There are several things that hint towards this.
1)Mike's brother Garret is kidnapped in a much more personal way. For one, considering they were taken while on an insolated camping trip, means that their kidnapping had to be much more planned. The license plate missing from the car not only confirms this, but so does the car itself being planted in the woods beforehand. A car doesn't drive to the location, instead Garret is thrown in the backseat then the car is turned on, which alerts Mike.
2)The only time William Afton is shown to personally go after a family is when he targets Henry's family, especially in the games.
3)This explains why Mike moved from Nebraska. Believing his sons were being targeted, something the Police would also think, they go into Witness Protection, changing their last name.
4) If the Emily's went into hiding, they likely would've left the state. This explains how Mike did not know about the missing kids incident, and Garret being taken in Nebraska confirms that the MissingKidsIncident actually took place in Nebraska.
5) This also explains why Mike knows nothing about Freddy Fazbear's pizza. Henry and William made Fredbear's Family Diner. In the movies, this is likely where balloon boy and the puppet came from as well as Golden Freddy.
6)This explains why William Afton kills. Its after he kills Garret that he gets a taste for it. This would mirror the games and the books.
8)This also explains why the torture device exists. He made it for Garret, so he died indirectly because of his father's creations. The torture mask would then inspire Freddy's new look.
To summarize:
Henry Emily and William Afton open Fredbear's. In the movies, the balloon boy and puppet are also made here, explaining why some anamatronics have different asthetics in the movies. Afton, jealous of Henry's perfect family, plans and successfully kidnaps and kills Garret. The nature of the kidnapping leads the police to think they're being targeted, so the family is sent into Witness Protection. This forces Fredbear's to close.
Soon after, Afton opens Freddy's in Nebraska. Mike nearly catching Afton leads to him developing the springlock suits. He then kills the kids, stuffing their bodies into the suits, but its actually Garret who initally 'woke up' their spirits inside the anamatronics. However, all through Vanessa's childhood and such, he groomed her to be a plant within the police. So, by the time the kids go missing, Vanessa is able to bury evidence and tip him off. She also is able to hack into the system, probably with Afton's help, and figure out what state Henry is in as well as his new last name. However he cannot find out more in time before blowing his and Vanessa's cover. So soon after the missing kids incident makes the news, he moves to his best educated guess as to where Henry is and sets up his new identity there. His last act as William Afton to build a sister location in the new state, moving the anamatronics the bodies are in to there so the police in Nebraska won't find them. He only leaves behind the puppet and the Fredbear suit he stuffed a kid in, aka Golden Freddy, to possibly frame Henry if they're found. Vanessa changes her last name and moves to the new state under that name, taking a lower rank in the police department nearby so her only job is essentially to patrol Freddy's. This starts his several year manhunt for Mike, the only witness to his crimes.
I like this theory it makes. The most sense in my opinion and it connects alot of things together
I also think Garrett had to know who took him since he easily went without a fight and didn't seem scared or upset in the car either
One theory I like is that Mike is biologically William's child, but his wife divorced him and married Henry, but they changed their names to Schmidt to protect their identity
As for why he doesnt remember Freddy's? Repressed memories, he forgot since he would have been about 6 at the time of its closure, or because of how much he was dwelling on Garrett's murder and, Seeing as he forgot key details like Afton's license plate, he didnt try and remember Freddy's
I actually think that makes a lot of sense at 9:50 if that is indeed his father it would tie in ruin that we see engineering equipment. This makes me want to watch the movie again lol
My guess is that the whole thing with the little brother (i suck at spelling names) is leading to the reveal of the puppet. Given the timeline's wiggle room of when the brother's kidnapping took place, plus the come find me at the end credits right after the juke box. I’m pretty sure Abby is supposed to be Charlie, because she’s the most connected to the MC, and she’s the one who puts there memories back together at the end of the movie, not to mention that the animatronic that chica puts her in is literally Ella from the books, the robot Charlie posses, so yeah I think Abby is Charlie, not Elizabeth
East grand forks, MN is border with grand forks, ND. Literally like across the highway you are in another state. So its possible they are in MN, but Vanessa works for the GF PD but takes trips over to MN to check on the place. Or she isn't a sheriff. Maybe her dad has her drive the GF car around as to not draw suspicion if she's seen in EGF parked for too long?

great theory, only issue about ballon boy taxi scene is that it may be of no consequence. William Afton is deliberately unable to move at the end of the movie and for Afton to jump scare a random driver makes no sense. Balloon boy being a calling card is nice but I don’t think the after credit scene should be taken seriously as it wouldn’t make sense in terms of BB being used to show that springtrap is up and roaming. Also odd that BB has no other cameos and is used as a trinket hinting it coming from another location maybe where Afton originally set up like Fredbears

You forgot something king! If we're going over the family then we should expand on another family member, like Aunt Jan. Is she the Dad's sister? And what has the bigger conversations she was gonna have with Mike later on. Maybe she was gonna drop some info on Where Mike's Dad was? Also, in the book Trilogy Charlie Emily has an aunt as well. Her name, Aunt Jen. Whom is the sister of Henry Emily.

I like the theory, but personally I dont think the balloon boy bits aren't anything deeper than surface level gags to reference how people find balloon boy obnoxious.
GFPD stands for granite falls police department and granite falls name also appears in the movie so it's not East Grand Forks.
Grand Forks, ND is the neighboring city to East Grand Forks. So my guess is that Mike and Abby and everyone lives on the EGF side and Freddy's and Vanessa police dept. are on the Grand Forks side. If William's work address is East Grand Forks this means this takes place in both East Grand Forks and Grand Forks.
Was with you up until Balloon Boy. It doesn't make sense for Springtrap, who's locked in the backroom, to randomly put Balloon Boy into a taxi or either of the earlier places and the same goes for Vanessa. If anyone, it likely to be a ghost (either one of the animatronics or an unaccounted for victim) moving it around as a prank.

Could Garret be a stand in for Charlie/puppet? That would explain his siblings supernatural connection, if Garrett is the source of that connection.

I have the ultimate Murder Drones theory. What if the Absolute Solver is a program, but what if it isn't truly sentient? When Uzi asked Eldritch J "So you are a program?", Eldritch J answered that it was more like Drones were her puppets? What did this mean? Well, maybe the Absolute Solver isn't what possesses drones. What if it's simply a tool by some sort of higher entity? The fact that the Absolute Solver exists within a Drone might mean it's merged with the Drone's programming. In which case, if I'm right, then whoever truly created Eldritch J meant by "More like you are our puppets", is that the Absolute Solver is its puppet, which they consider to be the Drone itself because it is merged with it. That or the Absolute Solver might simply exists within a Drone, in which case everyone knows the rest. Maybe even a bit of both. If I'm right, though, I don't know whatever entity is controlling the Absolute Solver and the Drones, but with Lizzie calling the program an "Industrial strength ghost", Uzi calling it "Robo-Satan", and the fact that the very show itself likes to draw inspiration from the Bible to create parallels, what if these aren't just parallels? What if, and I think this would be the definition of a coolly shocking plot twist, the Absolute Solver is possessed by a demon or at the very least some sort of parallel? Heck, maybe it's Lucifer himself trying to bring forth the end of God's creation.
Interesting theory
The only way this theory works, is if Mike’s dad stopped working with Afton before Mike was old enough to establish lasting memories. Because I’m pretty sure that he’d have known about Freddy’s, prior to being hired by “Steve Ragland” especially after actually going to the location, if he didn’t immediately remember the name. But in the movie it seems like he has no idea what Freddy’s is let alone anything else about the company. He didn’t even know that the animatronics were there till Vanessa showed him… and if his dad worked on them, I’m sure he’d have known about them to some extent… so this theory really doesn’t work at all, unless you force yourself to ignore the glaring plot holes…
