Till this time I have a million dollar question or doubt is running in my mind that there are several responsibilities they are on Scrum Master such as to facilitate, protect dev team and make and keep them happy and on the other side need to address PO concerns as well keep in mind that organization goals and expectations, so scrum master is the key role, so my question is a scrum master supporting many but who will support and protect the Scrum Master. But this prodcast helped to me find the answer some extent.
Hi guys, This is quiet insightful and fully loaded. Whoa indeed you are both great scrum Teachers. How I wish I can have a one and one conversation with you. keep up the good job. Thanks Angel
you prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot my password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Khalid Skylar I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I am a fairly new Scrum Master and this is giving very nice advice on what to focus more according to more experienced agile practitioners... very constructive chat. Thanks!

Hi! Where did you guys go? Will you be posting more stuff? Do you have a website? I ask because this video/podcast is the best one I've encountered and I would love to listen to more of your content. I used this specific video to prep for a scrum master interview and it helped me immensely. Please keep going! THANK YOU.
At the end of every other sprint, my team and i used to go out for lunch to celebrate. i miss that team. can't wait to be hired as a scrum master sometime soon :)
@@cutflow2 lately these companies want you to have at least three years experience. I interviewed at a few places and they didnt want me. Maybe it was me but i think they wanted experience. No big deal, im a dev, being paid well so it is what it is.
Great video! I'm a Scrum Master who finds it hard to communicate in the team I'm currently in. I haven't build up the team, just have to deal with the set-up. The head of software development is one of the devs and the PO is a good friend of the CEO. Both are speaking directly with the CEO. So I'm not really empowered. When I try to teach something those two do not really listen 👂. Instead they contradict my words or come up with something totally off topic. Then I stop waisting time and write my message into the team chat. What advice could you give me? I'm currently building up a second team. And what I think is best for me, is kiss the other team goodbye and focus on the new team a hundred percent.
Good video but environment makes a HUGE difference. Investment and Commercial Banks (IBM as well) have zero tolerance for fun and immaturity. Keep it Serious and Keep it moving! The CSM cert means nothing. There will be a white board session and if the person conducting the interview is not a Scrum Master expect to FAIL. You read that correctly. I've been interviews where people are referencing the PMBOK which has nothing to do with Scrum or even Agile delivery!
I am not a fan of John. Based on the way he interacts with others (disengenous, passive aggressive) I would never trust his advice on project management discipline where relationship management is key. 0 stars.

What an excellent explanation as a Scrum Master in a real-world, I am glad that I heard this clear information. Great. Keep it up.

Love this. The certifications are output, but the interview and role playing and being able to communicate is the outcome

If you're at a large bank (investment or commercial), or IBM that will not happen. Fun is suffocated immediately
Did you do that as a SM or a different role?
@@cutflow2 i was a dev. Still am actually, never went into the SM role (wrote this comment three years ago)
@@josda1000 you said you can’t wait to be hired as a scrum master. How did that go.?

I was the donut guy.. Friday donuts for my team 👌 few days before the review and retro
Please come back!!!
I put items that need to be addressed after stand-up into a “parking lot’. Keeps stand-ups short and items that may need more attention gets handled.
what kind of texhnical skills should a SM have so they r not perceived as “dangerous”
