LOL.. no joke derbyman.. You are the man!! I told a friend of mine about this video. We have a $50.00 bet. He said no way.. I will soon be $50 richer thanks to you!! LOL. Wish We were closer bro. I got to do motor mounts on a 93 accord. the firewall MOTOR mount looks like a bitch to get to. But no doubt you could do it quicker than an oil change. LOL.
Thanks. That mounts not too bad. Its just 4 bolts but its a bit tricky to get out. Its best to pull the front mount at the same time and rock the whole engine forward for more room to get it out.
Nice! Efficiency and speed. I'll be doing this work on my 97 Accord SE w/auto tran this weekend. The CV axle is itself is good. The outer boot ruptured while removing the engine and didn't support the hubs while rebuilding the engine. Lesson learned, car is running like champ, and get compliments how well it's maintained. It's my daily driver over 120 miles r/t to work and home with over 280K on the clock. She's a keeper...👌
A mechanic was going to charge me for 4 hours of labor for this shit. Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge! Def gonna go ahead and do it myself now that you've shown me how quick and easy it is
Hey brother, here I am again in the middle of the night watching your video because the CV axle broke that I’ve put into years ago while watching your video. Thanks again for the awesome video and you should get a job as a NASCAR pit crew guy because you got some speed brother! God bless
So i need to do this cv replacement on my high miles 91 accord, but my tranny is slipping pretty bad, I was told by a few people that if I pull my CV axel out of my transmission I could run into issues getting the new axel in, do you think doing a transmission flush, or just drain and filling my tranny before doing this will better my odds of a smooth axel replacement or will I just hurt my slipping transmission trying to flush it?
hi I'm gonna be replacing the driver side is it the same process it's like yours with the automatic trans and does it leak out a lot of oil none stop or just a little enough time to reinstall new axle, thanks
I’d recommend not jacking it that high up and not leaving the jack under I’d use another jack stand and only jack one side up not by the front and block off the tires so it doesn’t roll
also do you know why this cars sometimes when the engines is hot or after driving around the engine won't start you have to wait like 5minutes or so before the engine starts again otherwise if you do not wait you can keep cranking and it'll never starts , and does the fan comes on after you turn engine off ,thanks
Tony Tapuro yes I've heard it is the main relay under the cruise control box under the driver side dash area...I have a 90 accord that does this too but it somehow fixed itself
How the hell do u know if the axle is fully seated in the trans? My mom had somebody replace their axles before and they came out on the highway. Can u explain this for me please?
Did I just watch a guy change a front axle in 6 minutes? The Honda GODS are pleased with him. LOL. Nice job!
HVACENGINEER Moran Like a boss. Lol

Good advice!! I was thinking the same thing. The "DOGBONE" mount at the radiator area?
Thats the one.
Life saver helped out a ton just fixed my 92 cv axle after it broke on me and was only 100 bucks to fix thank you for this information😊

on 1994 Honda accord lx non v-tech passenger side cv axle removal , do I have to drain transmission fluid or can i just replace cv axle?
Great video man!

does a 96 Honda civic complete front-end suspension interchange with a 90 Honda accord?
thanks for the video it's big help 👏👏👏👍
Thank you sir
My bearings came out the axle any tips on how to get it off the rotar and mount
Use a small prybar to pop the cup out of the trans and use a hammer to tap the outer part out of the hub
forgot to record a important step. u had to tap the fold out of the axel nut or it will tear up the thread or wont even come off.
Sweet video bro.. you just helped me out loads. Thanks ;) #cb7Jimmy Soon ill be taking her too a accord meet ;)
My upper swingarm on same side is bad & I was told its easy, any suggestions? Also, I see ur. everyman, u live in Louisville? I do, just checking
The upper control arm is really easy to change out. Just 3 bolts. Im 2hrs away in Evansville.
Thank u. I grew up in Evansville, actually Elberfeld, a little Mayberry like town down why 57. Thx again brother.
Is it pretty much the same for the 93 Civic?
thanks for the vid

Tony Tapuro it must be the main relay swith had this problem before and i saw a video in how to fix it ericthecarguy
Tony Tapuro yes I've heard it is the main relay under the cruise control box under the driver side dash area...I have a 90 accord that does this too but it somehow fixed itself
I re solderd the points on main relay it helped but had to replace icm as well
Ignition coil, and distribution cap and rotor. That was with my 91 at least.
Tony Tapuro did you check all the fluid levels
i want to put a clutch how much time take??
dont replace the rotors they aint warped just sand off the glaze buildup : )
Seeing this made 7 years ago I gotta know how are u know
Can I replace just the boot? The leak just started, no clicking.
Yes you can with a replacement boot
Ok thanks
derbyman103 thank you very much for making this video. Helped me a ton, brother. God bless
Is it easy to change just the outer boot?
+brad hatt Its not too bad if your using the replacement 2 piece boot. Its just a bit messy.
Do one motor mounts gotta 92 accord
Thanks
Your video is too dark
Your tools are bent
