I love your content ike! I fell out of bass fishing for a few years and 2 years ago i got back into it and your content got me up to speed on all the latest baits and techniques, i seriously feel like i have a huge advantage due to watching your content.
Super cool! Thanks, Ike!!! I can't wait to try this bait. I think people would be surprised at the numbers, not only size this type of lure produces. I love Berkley's improvements... the action is much better, and the hook hanger also. I skip my Magdrafts and they skip really well but half the time the hook is wrapped around the bait's eyeball and the line tie.

all the butthurt comments on magdraft knock off crack me up. People acting like the magdraft is the first swimbait ever made and anything that comes after is a company not being innovative get a grip lol. Props to cull shad designers this thing looks awesome and is the first berkley soft bait ive been excitted for in awhile. Weird how those saying its a knockoff and the magdraft catches them better are seeing Matt Robertson on the elite series tear them up on this thing. Dont worry by next year all you moaners and groaners will be praising this thing and saying you have to have one tied on and ready. Great review Ike thanks for the info definitely have me ordering one the second its released!

Awesom vidio mike,I bought two 8 inch before I saw your vidio today,I fished mag drafts caught big fish but only catch 7-15 bass an it's tore all to peices hook comes out,cull shad feels more durable,going to try it ant day now

The cat is out of the bag. Big swimbaits have been a thing for a long time. I've been throwing big 7+ inch hard swimbaits and glidebaits for over 10 years. They are great for getting those kicker fish. You don't catch a lot, but ones you do catch are usually tanks.

I like the addition of the nail weight so that we can adjust the depth. I can’t wait to see what the color options are as well. The honeycomb design in the tail looks interesting and should add some great action. The only thing that I would like to have seen is a swimbait that can be fished with a faster gear ratio, and not keel over at a higher speed. When you can’t see or feel the action, it makes fishing the bait, a little more difficult.

I live on Dale Hollow, and we throw 6” religiously down here. Just gotta soften your rod tip a little more to keep from taking it away from them.

Berkeley does blatantly copy other baits but its generally jdm or other foreign engineered baits and Berkeley simply tries to make the same thing that is more available to Americans without all the import taxes and they typically improve on the bait itself,they put fusion 19 hooks on it and they'll typically sell you multiple baits for cheaper than youd pay for an individual jdm bait. Berkeley may copy stuff but they absolutely do it in an honorable way and i take pride in throwing Berkeley baits or hooks because i know that even though its very reasonably priced, it has outstanding quality! I couldn't have more confidence in components than what i do with Berkeley.

I feel like if you have to bring up if it's a copycat bait or not then it's most likely a copycat bait with maybe a few touches that aren't proven yet. Just saying.... Mag drafts kill so I don't see why this wouldn't either.

All of these are knockoffs even if they are improved. Just so weird people are so bent up just saying it. They remove or add plastic it's different 😂. Still can be a great bait.
It's the same concept. Plastic is softer and the hook clip is nice.
In all honesty pretty much every lure is a knockoff now days. Not much totally new technology

I don't like lures you have to add weights to make them swim upright. They should come that way for the price you pay anymore!! Just like the gilly, same way have to add weight to make it swim upright. I am just making a statement not talking about these new lures.
