Not really. With a few exceptions, Vat19 sells stuff that knows it's useless. That hoodie is like an office jockey trying to pretend he's the CEO to impress people.

The chicken hats are actually "dink dink " helmets. That's why there is a keychain hook on the top. The makers just wanted sell more.

Lmfao I actually use pretty regularly the lazy neck cellphone holder especially when I'm pushing around in my wheelchair.
I know right I noticed from other episodes, like the automatic can opener one, that he really has no awareness of differently able people. I wish he'd realize some of us can't just use our hand/arms/legs/ect.. and be done with it lol
Yeah, the comment after talking about using it in bed that 'sometimes we just need to use our arms' wasn't great, although I think it was probably about an average level of ignorance that I've come to expect from most people who make videos reviewing products sadly.
I use an iPad/phone stand, often combined with a Bluetooth trackball mouse, while laying in bed because I don't have the strength to either hold a phone/ipad up or old my arm up to use the touch screen for more than a few seconds at a time, or the ability sit/lay in positions condusive to phone/iPad usage for long at a time.
I think unless someone has dealt with disability themselves, or someone close to them has, most people are pretty clueless about the kinds of things that may be difficult for people with various different kinds of disabilities and what we might need in order to do things more easily or at all . There are certain things that don't occur to even people who are very aware and understanding of disability to be honest because any amount of empathy from outside is not the same as experience, so I guess it's not surprising that people who haven't ever had cause to think about how things effect disabled people don't have it occur to them 'yeah this is an absolutely stupid product for a lot of people but some people may have certain life situations different from mine that would make it helpful

@@GenX_files there is one channel I follow who started mentioning in every video that some products could help people with disabilities even if they seem silly to most people, after he read people pointing it out in the comments, so we can hope leaving comments will have the same effect on other channels, hopefully including this one
I definitely agree his take kind’ve missed the mark considering those who might need a more adaptable advice. But do you find that it can be a little hard to focus on it? Based just on the video, I feel like I agree that I think I’d get a headache for the angle where it holds the phone. I’d probably want it to be made a little more comfortable and with a better position

My mom actually got me one of those neck phone holders for Christmas one year 😂. I've barely used it.
My mom has one too!!! She was really excited when she first got it and convinced me to try it🤣. The one she has was a bit longer, so it wasn't so in your face like this one and it's actually worked fine for watching movies and such. Now idk where it went lol

The pacifier is actually for adults for raves. They were designed in 2002/2005 when rave culture was in full swing. Ravers would chew the pacifiers when they were “railed on E” because the drug would make people clench their jaws and grind their teeth. Also, some people would put their drugs inside of the nipple and chew their drugs instead of carrying them inside their pockets and purses.

12:48 Um.. anyone else use UV setting adhesives here? Cos, every single one that I have used tend to have warnings on them stating, DANGER! TOXIC! You're not even supposed to breathe the fumes of them, nevermind put the stuff in your mouth!
While most resins are indeed very toxic, there are dental grade resins that dentists use for fillings and crowns. Whether or not this stuff was medical grade, who knows, but dental resin is a thing.

I own that pea pod purse and I LOVE IT! It does protect everything inside, holds a lot and I get A LOT of compliments. The only downside is my mom calls it three boobs.

I’m at least relieved to see that those mouth tapes, even the most intense one, doesn’t fully seal the mouth like I’ve seen a lot of adults say they do to themselves every night. I still can’t help wondering though how long it will be before someone accidentally suffocates their kid with mouth tape and then tries to claim that they never could have foreseen that happening and we're only doing it for their child's health because they believed all the psudo-science claims out there on the Internet
I just watched a tiktok not two days ago where someone was wearing that pizza shirt unironically. it was wildlife footage of a street couch. some random dude rolled up on his wheelie shoes popped a squat on the couch and pulled pizza out of his hoodie and ate it. I actually have one of his neck phone holders. But I never use it. It only costs me like $2 or so I'm not that upset about it. I love this series though! But where was Ben? 🥺 I feel bad for the raccoons too. The pod fanny pack is actually kind of cool for only 8 bucks. Then has a hard shell to protect your stuff which is really cool I think.Also congrats to Emma for the baby.

Ok for real though- the resin on teeth thing should NOT be on the market. I know this resin is probably labeled as “safe” but even the resin that’s used on nails and such can cause contact dermatitis and girls have shown picture of their fingers puffing up like balloons and causing chemical burns. I work with resin and got a tiny bit on my finger once and it started swelling up and stinging. If you guys are able to report that company somehow, do it! They need to be taken down.
I’m sorry how has no one pointed out that they put UV resin in a kit designed to put in your mouth. UV resin is toxic! As someone who use it for 3d printing and I have to wear a mask when using it. That is super scary that it’s being sold like that
