Hi Jo, what an amazing video; I just signed up on the weekend to shave my hair. my hair is a little longer than what your hair was before the shave. this was a good boost thank you xo i do hope you raised your target and if you didn't just as good was raising the issue :) i trust life is treating you well and thank you for being brave and shaving your head; you are right we have the choice
My mom died from Ovarian Cancer in February she lost all her hair, she said she use to put her scarf on in the dark because she couldn't look at herself it was than painful, when her hair came back only lasted a few days then she died, cancer is a demon which affects all families, it doesn't discriminate at all, poor, rich, old, young, all different races and nationalities it doesn't exclude anyone.
You're absolutely stunning! And your bravery astounds me......I sound do selfish for saying this but I don't think I will shave my head until I'm Atleast out of high school.....but for now I will just keep coloring! Keep up the good work xx

It is cold cap chemo & many who use it don't lose their hair google it & read about it Remember doctors don't care what you look like so you have to put forth the effort yourself Yes its only hair If you have to be around patients who have lost theirs be sensitive they may find it disturbing to have to look at your shaved head a constant reminder of what's going on in themselves I know because a friend went through it She wouldn't let me shave
