Many within the Imperium believe that the Greenskins are one in the same, and by a simple observation that may be the case, but that further from the truth. The Orks have several differences that by human standards, but to the Orks it is a way of lifestyle that directs their own actions, and the Clans are such an example. These Clans are by appearance don’t seem too disimular to one other, but to the Orks of one Clan could feel insulted that you confuse them with a different Clan.

It is a little known fact across the Imperium at large, but the sheer number of Orks and their intimate relationship with the warp means that their worldview is being constantly enforced on all other lifeforms in the galaxy, regardless of their stance on the topic or even their knowledge thereof. Simply put, in the grim darkness of far future there is only war predominantly because the Orks want it that way.

@@nicholasleclerc1583 Well, the Tyranids one is obvious, you eat meat, but you aren't exactly at war with, say, cows. Chaos and Dark Eldar are subjects to the Warp, and are dependent on and subservient to it wherever they are - and if its shaped by Orks, so are they. As for the regular Eldar, with their dwindling numbers, not as if they didn't *want* to get into wars a lot - they just can't really afford it.

Today's rule finding: A Space Marine Chaplain's default litany "Litany of Hate" affects Core and Character units (of the same chapter). Black Templar Crusader Squads are not Core units. The implication is clear: The litany is preached in High Gothic, which Black Templar do not learn until they are sword brethren; Black Templar are therefore Catholics.

I krumpin love this channel. So happy to have some one who not only has passion for 40k lore, but also actually clearly likes it and embraces the silly parts while still having fun with it all. Truly the best lore guy around I think, the only one I can recommend to my friends not as into it all as me and they still have fun watching. ‘The Waaagh! room of Mork’s Hammer was crowded with orks mashed in shoulder to shoulder. Ufthak saw many faces he recognised and many more that he didn’t, because every single ork of any authority under Da Meklord’s command was here. Surly, black-clad Goffs glowered at camouflaged Blood Axes and blue-painted Deathskulls, while the stench of fuel from the Evil Sunz was almost overpowered, but instead just sickeningly offset, by the smell of squig dung that accompanied the Snakebites. However, most numerous by far were the yellow and black colours of the Bad Moons, which wasn’t only Ufthak’s clan, but also that of Da Meklord himself. They were smartest, the richest and the flashest clan of all, and the reason why the Tekwaaagh! had risen so quickly and so unstoppably. Sure, the Evil Sunz might drive a bit faster, and the Blood Axes might be a bit sneakier, but if you wanted the ladz with the best guns, you wanted Bad Moons. This many orks in such close proximity was a pretty good recipe for a massive fight, especially given the egos involved. Ufthak could see the huge, horned helm and multiple back banners of Drak Bigfang, the Goff warboss; the collection of junk and scavenged armour plates under which was Gurnak Six-Gunz, the self-proclaimed SupaLoota of the Deathskulls; and the fur-clad bulk of Da Viper, the Snakebite Overboss, whose gargantuan squiggoth was so large it allegedly had a hold all to itself in his kroozer. Any of these orks were capable of leading a Waaagh! in their own right, but no one was starting any trouble worse than jostling their neighbour a bit. No one wanted to end up like Oldfang Krumpthunda, who’d taken Da Meklord on one on one and had been… Well, no one was quite sure what he had been, other than it involved getting hit with Da Meklord’s shokkhammer and then ending up in lots of very small pieces in very different places. Some of the boyz said they were still finding bits of him in the stew, now and then.’ - Da Meklord, Da Biggest Big Mek, of the Tekwaagh! before the assault on the Adeptus Mechanicus Forge Wolrd of Hephaesto
'Toughness, meanness, and savagery are the traits most valued among the Ork clans. Indeed, an Ork only needs to be big, tough, and ambitious enough to seize power to rise through the ranks. In this society where might makes right, the
mightiest are the great Orks of the Goff clan. The biggest of
the Greenskin clans, both in height and bulk, and unmatched
in their savagery, the Goffs are the archetypical Ork. They
are the Ork that comes to mind when the Greenskins are discussed in the camps and war rooms of the Imperial Guard and the echoing halls of the Departmento Munitorum, and the monster with which parents all across the Imperium threaten their disobedient children. Their size, savagery, and ambition make them natural leaders among the Orks, and among their ranks the Goffs count some of the most infamous and brutal Ork Warbosses in history. Brutes of great renown ,including the legendary Prophet of the Waaagh!, Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka, have worn the black and white livery of the Goff clan, and most of the successful smaller warbands in the galaxy are led by these ill-tempered bullies. Goffs are also stiff and humourless in the extreme, which puts them at odds with many of their more easy-going Greenskin brethren. Perhaps their defining characteristic, aside from their generally bad attitudes, is their sheer size. Goffs are longer of arm and broader across the shoulder than nearly any other Ork. With their reach and their immense strength and endurance, they can out-swing, out-punch, and outlast all but the toughest foes, such as the Battle-Brothers of the Adeptus Astartes, making them powerful and incredibly capable brawlers and melee fighters. Cross-grained and much given to casual brutality, Goffs are always spoiling for a fight. When not directly engaged with their enemies, they fall to fighting amongst themselves or antagonising other Ork clans. In battle, they rely mainly on infantry, and prefer an up-close and personal fighting style. Goffs eschew the misdirection and subterfuge that certain other clans employ, and, Gork and Mork forbid, sneaking about in the trees like a coward. This is all largely due to their ingrained notions of how things should be in Waaagh!, namely, a full-frontal assault and tearing apart the enemy with tooth, claw, and choppa. As such, huge, snarling mobs are the calling card of the Goff clan, and their armies tend to be larger and more homogeneous than those of other clans. While they make decent battlefield strategists, their tactics lack any kind of subtlety, and begin and end largely with the time-honoured “screaming charge directly into the enemy guns” manoeuvre. Their preferred weapons for this kind of action are the ubiquitous slugga, often with some kind of bayonet or other melee attachment, and the heaviest, choppiest, wickedest choppas they can carry. Goffs also love a good explosion, and typically carry about their persons a clutch of stikkbombs for lobbing into trenches and clearing out bunkers and pillboxes. Thanks to their bull-headed view of battlefield tactics
and their love of close quarters battle, the majority of Goff forces tend to be Sluggaboyz and ‘Ard Boys. Occasionally carried into battle on trukks and dismounted for their final charges, but mostly content to walk wherever the fight is, these powerful infantry fighters are supported by the usual groups of Weirdboyz, Mekboyz, Runtherds, Killa Kans, and the occasional Deff Dread. Goff Nobz frequently don megaarmour, as they see it as the best way to get right in the middle of the fighting to dispense some violence on their enemies. Goff livery is predominantly black with white highlights. The sombre monochrome of their colours is considered, among their ranks, the only proper attire for a grim and serious Ork warrior. Their clan symbol is a black bull’s head over a red circle on a black banner, often with a black and white chequer pattern around the edges for contrast. They occasionally repeat this chequer pattern on their
armour, wargear, and vehicles, but this is as far as any self respecting Goff warrior goes in the way of ornamentation. The very idea of camouflage is anathema to the Goffs, for they consider its use both cowardly and an affront to Gork and Mork. In addition, the use of bright colours and flashy bits of chrome or polished metals as ornamentation for clothes, armour, and wargear is frowned upon, and the use of such fripperies is sure to get an offending Goff a savage tongue-lashing from a surly elder. The only kind of ornamentation countenanced among the Goffs are bighorns, massive curved horns cut from the heads of dangerous beasts and worn on helmets as a sign of the Ork’s utter fearlessness and brute resilience.'

Twas the night before Thinkmas, when all through the camp. Not a creature was fighting not even an ork champ. The bosses eads were hung by the dakka with care. In hope that Gork and Mork would be there. The snotlings were nestled all snug in there beds. With visions of loot piled in their heads. Big boss in his tent and I in my cave maw. Had just finished a good seasons WAAAGGGGHHHH. When out in the camp there arose such a clatter. I sprung from my rock to see what was the matter. And away to the noise I ran like a flash. Hoping for a really good bash. The light off the armor did glow. It seems the humies have put on a show. But what to my wandering eyes did appear. But another good fight was here. But faster than warbike Big Boss came. And growled, "Let's give these humies some pain". "Now Facestomppa! now Skullsmasha! now Madsplitta! and Gloomkraka!". "Urry, Urzgragg! urry, Blonecleava! urry Scalpsliptta! and Doombringa!". "Bring out the Stompa," I eard Big Boss call. Those humies would surely fall. Now bash em all away, bash low bash high. You could see the twinkle in Big Boss's eye. Across the camp the humies they slew. But soon they realized they were too few. And with much cheer and banging followed by a boom. The humies valiantly faced their doom.

Dude! Amazing! Love the Orc stuff. Love fighting Orcs so simple and straight forward. You know where you stand with an Orc. It's almost relaxing. You can just turn your mind off and just fight. Almost a vacation fighting Orcs. And fun as well.
