I agree with your aesthetics 100% but ... if somebody is more into thrusters and airs, more power to them. The only wrong way to surf is to adopt affectations in order to win the approval of opinionated youtubers.
This surfing is so legit. It's not longboarding, but it's way radder than what 80% of mid-lengtherz are doing out there. As an aged out shortboarder who owns a heavily rockered 9'0" for EC summers, if I could I could transcend most of our wave range with your methodology I could almost put away the hpsb boards and be good moving forward into that dark night. Can you ride it at good sized Ponto?
