TOS 2 devs have said that they don’t want kingmakers, which includes surv, GA, and some other neutrals. Medium is also prob not coming back, since it’s basicallg useless, and trans is too chaotic.
Create an all any lobby with these bans - Doomsayer - Shroud - Hex Master - Conjurer - Ritualist - Deputy - Marshal - Prosecutor - Monarch - All NA I guess, maybe the only exception being PB Mostly so that there's less killers at night and less TPOWs that can confirm themselves and get extra votes going.
I honestly missed the ability in tos1 to convince neutrals to become your allies, it was really fun to actually be able to gain voting power through words alone. I miss that aspect of the game from the survs and GAs
ToS1 is a SOCIAL deduction game. The player interaction in chat and the faction's deduction and persuasion skill is what decided most games. ToS2 is far more role based. If you try and use social deduction in ToS2 you end up being called a gamethrower as you did not follow your role's exact gameplay strategy.
This was a nice change of pace to see, even though it was mainly brought on by server trouble with the sequel. Would not be opposed to the occasional ToS1 mini-session popping up every now and then going forward.

So many old roles that I miss, especially the old retri. I know people hated that for some reason, but Retri was probably the best example of a role that can genuinely shift the game
Something else I miss from TOS1 is being able to copy and paste other ppl’s chat. It’s very useful to bring up what someone’s previously said but ig they got rid of it in TOS2 bc it was mainly used to help mediums with dead chat
@@ric6611 ToS2's code back-end was likely redone from the ground up (given ToS1 is a decade old at this point, that old code's gotta be pure spaghetti), so any features they don't need to re-implement saves time. If they (wrongly) assumed that nobody copy-pastes except for mediums and medium is being removed, then they just won't spend resources on re-implementing it. Of course, that's assuming their implementation of the chat box is one that doesn't normally allow you to select text, and not the other way around...

Like your most replayed video, most watched profiles, stuff like that. You may be able to see them on your profile tab where you find your history or playlists. I have a message about my music recap, but only saw an email about my RUclips gaming.
Saw this in my recommended, I used to watch your tos1 videos daily. After a hard breakup I couldn’t watch you without thinking of my ex and after a while i completely forgot about this game, i used to talk about your videos all the time with her and hyperfixate on the game, going thru another break up rightnow and seeing this has reminded me to think more positively

They already said they're not going to due to the role causing so much confusion. Trickster was originally meant as a diet Transporter. Maybe the BTOS guys will consider adding it to the mod but it most likely won't come to vanilla TOS2.
I kind of miss Transporter and survivor as roles, both added chaos in different ways and if played correctly, transporter could turn a bad situation for town into a W. Of course, I also miss old ret and apparently that's controversial :p

Town of Salem - Coven Expansion DLC, how to play. The rules are the same as Town of Salem, except for these changes. For a refresher on those rules, watch literally any other ToS video. All Coven members will always appear suspicious, unless they have the Necronomicon, in which they will then always appear Innocent. No member of the Coven begins with the Necronomicon, and it instead is given to the Coven Leader once 2 days have passed. If no Coven Leader exists, it goes to the next role in the list, then proceeds through it. The first faction or killer to be the remaining one standing, wins. The first faction or killer to be the last one standing wins.
~460 games of ToS1. I completely forgot that Doctor was a role, and thought the guy that claimed it was just joking. Took me til Pipetron mistook Doctor as Cleric for me to realize

Sheriff(inno/not inno), Investigator(sees a cluster of roles you could be), Spy(can see maf/coven chat), SK(no bloodlust), Exe(gets a target pre chosen), Vet(cannot be roleblocked or killed on alert), Medusa(stone gazes visitors to themself), and Poisoner(can poison each night) were changed slightly. Some roles don't exist(Monarch, Pros, Deputy, Admirer, Seer, Bers/War, SC/Death, Baker/Famine). Some new ones do(All the Mafia unless playing Mafia Returns, Medium, Vampire Hunter, Transporter, Survivor, Guardian Angel, Witch, Juggernaut, Vampire). Amnesiacs had the weirdest change as they were a Neutral role that picks its own role and alignment. In ToS2 they are a Town role that gets the first Town role in the graveyard.
Some details there though: Spy cannot see Maf/Coven chat. It was able to do so at one point, but as it was too powerful, was removed. Instead, it got the whole bug aspect (which translated to ToS2) And Vet in ToS1 is unique.
I have to say I did take an extended break from watching because you swapped from TOS1 to TOS2, because I was so invested in the all achievement series. I did end up coming back and do enjoy the new videos, but I would love to see the TOS1 all achievements run through if you would be willing to.

Yeah it was fun and chaotic but it also caused the most stalemates which is why it was removed in ToS2.
