    I was 13 years old when this aired. It was the first time I’d ever heard the name Diane Feinstein. I’ll be 42 years old next month and today she announced her retirement.

    It's crazy how the same politicians are in power for so many decades. Romney, Feinstein, the Cuomo family. What happened to the will of the people?

    Al originally wanted to use the Jewish attack ad again and then Norm would say “but he’s not Jewish” and Al would say “yes but it’s a very close race”

    The Cuomo one has aged strangely with the Nursing Home Controversy with Andrew.

    • @katharinephipps1637
      @katharinephipps1637 3 года назад +1

      There is simply no there to that story. One of the problems in this country is the failure of people to understand ANY nuance or detail at all. WHERE to count the deaths--hospital vs nursing home and leaving them in pending status until you figure it out is just not that huge an issue. In many states it takes up to 2 months to even issue a death certificate.

      What's the difference between a conspiracy theory and fact? About 6 months.

      @@brianbouder5750 It's aged well. The deaths were reported the whole time and it is still WHERE they were to be reported--hospital or nursing home. So not really an issue but you can keep believing it is.

      @@katharinephipps1637 To finally gain the confidence to actually go down here, Mr Cuomo did move his parents out of the old homes before he put the patients in. Either way he's resigned over being a pervy werido.

      @@jamesfoz6400 He committed no crimes and I am not sure he's even a pervy weirdo. Conduct of the AG in that case is pretty questionable and politically motivated as were his so called accusers.

    You wouldn’t be able to get away with that today. Case in point , one guy became a senator and the other one remained a successful comedian until he sadly passed away.

    Did Franken and MacDonald get along after Norm was given the Weekend Update job? Franken quit because he had wanted it.

      NewhamMatt what's the name of the other guy pls?

    • @NewhamMatt
      @NewhamMatt 7 лет назад +4

      The guy on the left is Norm MacDonald, the then current Weekend Update anchor. The guy on the right is Al Franken, one of the show's longest serving writers and featured players, who is now the junior senator from Minnesota (Democrats) and one of the most prominent opponents of the Trump administration. I imagine you can see him online taking on both Jeff Sessions and Betsy DeVos. Franken quit SNL in 1995 when, having been a part of the show for most of the previous 20 years, Lorne gave the Weekend Update job to Norm instead of him.

    Mitt Romney. That reminds me, why vote for somebody if they are going to lose?
