I always forget how many steps there are in cooking delicious mexican foods. When we’re little we don’t realize how much time our mamas and abuelas spent in the kitchen. I do miss cooking like this. I really do enjoy watching your videos. They always take me back to my childhood. When i was younger I didn’t really care too much for the Mexican traditions and learning to cook the way i grew up eating. But then i hit my 30’s and began to embrace my culture and cooking. My kids always remember me cooking wonderful enchiladas and arroz and sopas and tacos just like i grew up eating. Thank you for always reminding me of my childhood and reminding me how beautiful our culture is.

Wow as far as having a incredible mom as a chef/cook. You're kids must be spoiled with food. I was spoiled with food. Both my parents are good cooks. I always had seafood and Sunday gravy. Alot of Italian American dishes. My parents didn't teach me to cook. I found out when I got older how to cook from you tube and cookbooks. I found out I'm naturally good at it and You're such a good cook I would teach you're kids if I were you. It's always nice to fall back on a trade. Great recipe.

Fried and drowned. No complaints here. I like the carnitas technique. Definitely going to try it. Seems a lot easier and less messy than the traditional carnitas recipes.
Looks sooo yummy!!! Do you think the vinegar in the salsa changes the flavor? I never have any at home lol so I would leave that out and just curious what makes you add it to this salsa and not other salsa recipes. Wish I could grab a taco from the screen!
