- How strong is Bowser in The Super Mario game franchise? In this video I'll be going over exactly how powerful he is. I cover all different forms of Bowser iterations as well including him in the Super Mario Movie, Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Paper Mario! His power, intelligence and durability make him one of video games most powerful villains. Yoshi's island DS confirms that Mario is a star child just like Bowser, which leads me to think that Mario is a superhuman and has power on a similar level to Bowser, which would explain how he is always able to defeat Bowser. It would also explain how he was able to pick Bowser up by the tail with his bare hands and throw him a great distance in Super Mario 64. And it would explain his great jumping abilities.
Not really the same strength, but the same league I think.

@gunbuckybucketman4578 No, of course, they don't have the same strength level. Nintendo confirmed that Bowser is twice as strong as Mario and Wario combined, and Wario is a very strong star child too, but yes, he's in the same league as Bowser, but Mario mostly wins by outsmarts Bowser or his own arrogance, and pride causes his downfall with Mario's enhanced capabilities helping.

@playerback7722 Yeah, I know it's crazy but given Mario's capability in the games, it makes sense.
In regards to durability, you didn’t mention that, according to the Prima guide in Super Mario Galaxy, when the universe was reset, Rosalina had to protect everything from being eradicated, but she purposefully excluded Bowser. However, Bowser lived with no permanent injuries. Bowser literally tanked the universe’s destruction.
If I’m remembering right he only had a slight headache after that… How tough is bowser’s hide to survive an entire universe collapsing with him in the middle of it
First, Galaxy Reactor exploded with a supernova and then turned into a black hole
Then, supernova grew stronger and started to reset universe

Oh and by the way, Japanese version of game states that one of the galaxies in game is a superspace aka concept of time and space (Matter Splatter Galaxy, the galaxy that has Watch Your Step level)

In Mario Party Island Tour Bowser uses his magic to create an entire tower in an instant.
In Super Mario Run it mentions the Fortresses are made by Bowser.

Dry Bowser is Bowser, we see him become Dry Bowser in New Super Mario Bros DS, Bowser Junior's Journey, and Mario Party 10.
People believe Dry Bowser is a separate character because of a line about a bubble clone in Mario Party Island Tour that is a mistranslation.
I don't recall seeing Bowser eat a Metal Mushroom in any game.
Oh yeah, Bowser's giant form seems to be triggered by magic/the power of the stars or high stress situations.
The IQ claim is probably something he made up or someone else told him, Bowser is shown to be not the brightest. However, he is not dumb as seen in PM64.
Bowser and Bowser Jr's tech is probably not made by them but the Koopa Troop. They just have the knowledge of how to operate it.
What's the source for the speed of sound claim?
Bowser also has the abilities to summon his minions via magic, occasionally teleport other people to him, turn entire islands into storybooks, and maybe even duplication powers.
Not to mention that Bowser was threwn inside a black hole at Mario Party 9, then he exploded with a supernova

@@LegoWhisbecauseyes The Dry Bowser of Mario Party Island Tour is a Bubble Clone, and the line about them being a close family friend is the result of the localization team altering the original text. Similar to how they added in the non canon Mushroom King in the SMB manual.

One thing that I think is noteworthy is that Bowser beat Dark Bowser, a malevolent entity that copied Bowser’s DNA and abilities. Dark Bowser had basically everything Bowser has PLUS all kinds of dark magic, and Bowser beat it. Logically, this means that Bowser had to have made up the difference with tactical knowledge and skill.
Technically, Bowser didn’t beat DB alone, but since DB is 2 entities at that point, and Bowser fought the Bowser part while the Bros took care of the Fawful bug, I’d say that still counts as proof that he isn’t ENTIRELY dumb muscle.
He can also spindash and homing attack just like Sonic characters as seen in BIS
Can power-up himself with his fury (not Fury Bowser, his fury power boost thingy)
And he was hella weakened at beginning of BIS, he could remove it veeery slowly through game
I'd argue that he completely threw away his weakening after Dark Bowser battle (probably Bowser X or smth)
Worth mentioning that in Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey, there are two things of note.
1. In the giant fight against Mecha Peach's Castle, Giant Bowser throws the castle around the entire globe. The castle literally circles the entire planet and lands back next to Bowser.
2. In the Bowser Jr's Journey part of the game, you can recruit Bowser as a unit. In his description it says, "He possesses more charisma and destructive power than a trillion Marios." Taking that at face value means that Bowser is like a trillion times stronger than Mario or something? Sounds crazy to me lol. It sounds like Bowser wrote his own description.

Koopalings literally come to main menu to teach you the game, and Bowser Jr can read descriptions as he mentioned at the fight where Larry and Wendy teached critical damages, he read Wendy's description and it's probably written by Roy
