Winter Contingency is my soundtrack of choice, but here are two alternate versions of this trailer, if you prefer them: - Tip of the Spear: ruclips.net/video/EsjNSaNGuQo/видео.html - Uphill, Both Ways: ruclips.net/video/22pBj-QvDqk/видео.html To me, Winter Contingency captures the drama of Reach, and gives this "journey" feel to it, going from foot, to vehicle, to air, to space. Take notice in the trailer, how it starts off showing Spartans in combat, followed by shots of a Rocket Warthog driving by, and a Falcon firing at the AA Gun, topped off with the Sabre fight, and finally actually being inside the Corvette. This shows players the things they can expect on their journey, and Winter Contingency captures this awe and wonder.
This was amazing! I liked the 343 trailer it made the game look like an action movie blockbuster. But yours is a little more like halo and nedtolgia for the music
Yep. It's a well edited trailer, though it's almost a bit too generic at some point, and I felt the same way when it came to MCC's launch trailer. Just wanted to try injecting the unique Halo flavor into it.
I like what your concept is here, but I think a more intense, plugged in Reach track would work better for this. Like Uphill Both Ways or Tip of the Spear.
Uphill Both Ways? No. Starts too quickly and too quietly for the beginning of the trailer. Tip of the Spear? I've tried that for a bit, so possibly, but I feel like the trailer is too short to squeeze in all the necessary parts of the music to sync with the trailer in order for the audio not to feel rushed. Keep in mind I'm trying to keep the video unaltered. I'm not sure if I could've managed it if I worked on it more, but I dropped it, since I thought it wouldn't be able to fit properly. Winter Contingency, however, just seemed to click for me. Not to mention it's the theme for Reach that's immediately recognizable for the game. I dunno. Tip of the Spear seemed too short in some places, and too long in others somehow.
So I got them both working well. Winter Contingency is still my soundtrack of choice, since it captures the drama of Reach, and gives this "journey" feel to it, going from foot, to vehicle, to air, to space, but here are the two working alternate versions of this trailer you asked for: - Tip of the Spear: ruclips.net/video/EsjNSaNGuQo/видео.html (Works well in places, but too many skips, and had to rely on a 20% slow down for the Sabre launch.) - Uphill, Both Ways: ruclips.net/video/22pBj-QvDqk/видео.html (A far cry from Tip of the Spear. Feels underwhelming.) Take notice in the trailer, how it starts off showing Spartans in combat, followed by shots of a Rocket Warthog driving by, and a Falcon firing at the AA Gun, topped off with the Sabre fight, and finally actually being inside the Corvette. This shows players the things they can expect on their journey, and Winter Contingency captures this awe and wonder, which is why I used it.

Love how the video ended at "1:17"
Amazing, well done. Now it feels like a Halo trailer.
Fuck dude this is amazing.
Beautiful
You're alive
I wished they would've did something like this instead of using generic music for the trailer.
Did the same job, but with CE here: ruclips.net/video/uInntUMyQPc/видео.html
