  • In Vennesla in Norway (near Kristiansand) there's a 4 km long log flume, of which 3 km are currently walkable (the rest should open in the summer of 2021). It was originally used to transport logs when the river dried up as a result of hydroelectric power production, but today it has turned into a tourist attraction and is well maintained. There is also an old power plant nearby (Kringsjå kraftstasjon)

The waterfall at 1:18 is a frequented bathing place in the summer when the water level goes down a bit, and you can jump down the 7-8m fall.
Found this random video of a guy doing it: ruclips.net/video/qbsEalOyaC4/видео.html

Cool! Wouldn't imagine that being possible when we were there. Huge difference in water levels. 😮
