I made the 60 and the spiked cube version about 5 years back when I was fully into modular stuff. I'm all about tessellations these days, but i'll always be fond of the big, multi unit projects
How do you cut out the paper? do you actually measure it to be 3inch by 1.5 inch or do you fold/cut it in a way that it does it naturally to that size rectangle?

I decided to use the bascetta star variation with 5 pieces for the first section and make hexagons to open it up.
i was planning to make these for christmas but i cannot get the pieces to connect to each other, any tips?
Hmmm what size paper are you using? I find that larger sized paper makes it easier to connect the units.

Hi! I use 15x15cm paper and cut it into 30 pieces so it would be 3.75cm x 1.875cm pieces for the individual units!
