- Video highlights of my trip to Bir, India in October 2015. Compilation of flights to Dharamsala, triangles into Big Mountains, camping at 360 launch, top landing Golf Course. There was quite a few moments when I was flying with Himalayan vultures and of course other paragliders.

Hi Alex, I am Tarun, from India, I have gone addicted to this video, I get lost every time I watch , Flying with Himalayan vultures is like Truly Heaven! I am going to get into this sport soon.

I like the camaraderie and the fact that you can rely on one another if needed, a basic instinct for most and an assurance that you all get to fly another day :)

Bir is certainly high on my bucket list! That LZ looks tricky! Am I to understand that it's still quite high and on the edge of a steep drop? Looks like that ;)

The place is known as bir billing in himachal pradesh...The best in india for paragliding..I have too experienced the same as a pillion..
Awesome Alex, it's time for me to join this extreme sports doing P1 in next month. My question is can you land on the mountain along the way of ur flight take some hault n again can fly back to base? Is it possible? Because I have not seen anyone to do that.
Yes, you can topland and relaunch. It's actually present in my video, watch from 12:00.

How much time it takes to become expert in this paragliding??
Nobody is really and expert, well there may be a few, as it's a continuous learning experience. To fly there? I would say 3 seasons to be safe.

На проводке акселя намотан остаток шнурка после бруммеля и может упираться в ролик подвески (полный аксль выжимается?)
+evmira Привет, полный аксель нормально выжимается, расстояние до роликов больше, чем ход акселя. А остаток нужен если на другом крыле надо отрегулировать ход акселя.

Yes, there are few schools and you can start from the tandem flight to check it out.

Hi Rikon, No, I don't fly PPL. Only free flying (no motor) paragliders & little bit hang gliders.

Alex Gagarin .. that's a nice place for tandom flights. You can go as far as 90 Miles if you take off from this sight. I recently flew with a native pilot from same take off sight. And I like the hindi song you have added in video. Nice Job 👍
what are these other places?? especially the golf course .. is it Barot valley or Parashar ??
Golf course is top landing spot few ridges NW from Bir, probably 5 miles or so. 360 launch is in opposite direction toward Mandi.
