The way the rain and the lighting reveal Zombie Liu Kang it’s like he is presented as a nightmare coming back from the dead to haunt Shang Tsung. It reminds me of Frankenstein coming back to haunt his creator. Also from the way Shang Tsung is looking, Its like he fully expected Zombie Liu Kang to seek bloody vengeance but at the same time he is scared because he doesn’t have Quan Chi to help him this time. Also the music amplifies the madness of the scene. Chills thinking of this
He is. In the intro, when he walks out he literally stalks and prevents him from reaching the top. The funny thing is ed boon and creators, theyve been trying to kill liu kang for a long time and didnt know how. Like the mk4 ending where tanya, quan chi,and shinnok kill him was a prequel to them finally being able to do so and better than the deadly alliance version and a lot more darker. You feel bad for liu kang that he dies in mk4. Also,he wasnt the hero or one to stop shinnok. It was scorpion finally(the poster boy for mk) and it carried over throughout deadly alliance, deception and even armageddons konquest mode. Then in mk9 it was kind of uncalled for but it was shocking (no pun intended) to see it again but this time as raidens fault.
This is like when I read the Novel of Jurassic Park and it just got darker even The Lost World Jurassic Park too when they have the Carnotaurus but Chameleon hybrid
@@donniewalters00 I’m grateful to have played this game when I still had the PS2. Consoles evolve, new games will be made, but it will never replace the classics and their distinguished quality. Maybe it’s because I grew up on the PS2 and Nintendo, though I have the more recent console now. And I do enjoy some of the new games, too. Still, if I had a chance to keep the old games, I definitely would.

Funny because Shang killed Quan Chi just a minute before Liu Kang arrived at the pyramid of Blaze.

Siii es verdad de niño me daba miedo jugar este juego solo en casa
I loved this game so much and here is another moment of horror from a game that is usually seen more action oriented.
This menu theme feels like it was made for this particular background.
reminds me of when I used to leave my ps2 on while I did homework or drew in my notebook
could definitely see it being a rainy evening/night too
