My senior cat is a large orange tabby that we've had in the family since he was 3 DAYS old! He is now 14.
The only time that he sleeps with me is when I am sick or have a migraine. He will find his way upstairs and onto my bed to snuggle with me. ❤
Our junior kitty is a 18 month old female. She moves through the house visiting each person for awhile (about one sleep cycle) and then moving on to another bed and another nap.
My Ace prefers to sleep at the foot of my daughter's bed. He also likes snuggling up next to her when it's his nap time.
Once in awhile Ace will snooze at the foot of my bed. I've set up a little sleeping space for him. A folded small blanket and a small throw pillow.

Absolutely. My fur baby loves sleeping me every single night. I wouldn't have it any other way. Her purring is such a soothing way for me to fall asleep.
My cat Tiger-J sleeps anywhere he wants. He sleeps next to my bed,or next to me. It depends on the weather.

I love letting my cat sleep with me. He sleeps by my head on my pillow. He loves to cuddle, always has to have a paw on me.
When I'm having any type of health issues, he wakes me up! So that's another benefit to letting your cat/pet sleep with you in my opinion 😸

I currently have 3 cats and half the time they all sleep on my bed at night. It's like they take turns who gets to cuddle with mommy. I do notice my dreams change to a very loving dream. I woke up holding one of my furbabies as if she was an actual baby. In my dream I had been flipping my baby around getting my daughter comfortable. Noticed that it only felt right when I had her on my left side. The night before I woke to one of my "boys" (2boys, 1girl) giving me nose kisses.

I had 13 amazing years with my baby and I got to the point that I couldn't fall asleep unless I knew where she was. I definitely slept better if she was there but if she chose to be somewhere else that night, I didn't force her to stay, but I HAD to know where she was.
I have three cats one of them is a tortie and to her I am her everything and she sleeps with me but she will not let any other cat come on the bed at night. I love them all dearly, but the torti had really gained a big place in my heart, and at the same time I feel so guilty because I'm barely here I work a lot and on my days off I have family stuff I go do. I have even cut back sleep just so I can make playtime. I just want to make sure I get to the end of these cats's lives knowing I tried my best to be the best cat dad.

I like listening to ur vids and usually find them informative however im gonna have to call BS on this one. Im in my 40's and have had cats all my life. Even now. Your first 5 points prove incorrect in my life. I have heart issues and at risk for heart disease. I am often more stressed now having him bc hes gotten so much more needy & vocal even tho vet visits are fine. Idk if its old age or what. (Hes 17) Him being needy & more vocal decreases my sleep. Hes needy crawling all over me when the door is open or screaming his face off when the door is closed. He will sleep all day until i want to go to sleep, then hes up being a jackass. Purring idk bc mine doesnt. Allergy prevention? I developed sinus issues and allergies when i was 9. So unless ur talking about pet dander allergies, then idk? Bonding & companionship are legit but any animal can do that as well. Even reptiles.
