Thanks for sharing. For the new night vision googles that both the marines and army received, I would definitely recommend the medium GP pouch for sure.

Ngl, when i was a private, i stuffed my PVS-14 in the issued double mag pouch and called it good. Super tight fit. I was banking on the nods to be durable bc there was little to no protection when carrying in that way. I remember doing a bound and falling right on top of it with my full weight. Nothing broke to my surprise lol.
Fast forward today when i have my OWN nods. Yeah, no way in hell im going to risk breaking those things when its on MY dime. Stow it properly!

Just got my first binos last week and having been trying to find a slick (and safe) way to store them. This checks that box. Thanks for the great product.

Good stuff! Also For fellow pvs-14 users, eagle industries makes a nvg insert for their canteen pouches. Pretty good value as well.

Found a NOS digi camo one on ebay for like $2 + shipping not too long ago
It's only the outside of the canteen where the camo matters, so seems like a score to me

I bought a mutant pouch for my pvs 14 in a padded shell, the attached pouch will be useful for water bottle in the meantime until I get a thermal monocular that should fit in that spot

For the pvs 14, just use a canteen cup with some tape on the inside to prevent rattle. Fits in a bunch of random pouches and is free since its issued gear. No need to spend a grip of money on it.

Yes the RNVGs do fit in the small but it’s somewhat of a tight fit. I’d recommend the medium just for the ease of putting them away quicker especially if you have it on your PC.

When I was in I was very ignorant about what good gear companies were out there and typically I would just go to the surplus shops surrounding bragg to aquire things. Also, our command wasn't keen on dudes running a lot of aftermarket kit. They didnt like lack of uniformity and also I think they knew some poor souls would try to run condor gear. And for better or worse my way of stashing my pvs 14s was to tie them down, wrap them in a tshirt and shove them into a canteen pouch.
