Thank you Rabbi. This is a rare occasion when you understand someone from overseas, speaking a language you learned as an adult, better than the wisdom in your native tongue.

The interesting thing to me about the Elijah story is how Elisha was harassed by a bunch cynical kids (non believers) shortly after Elijah ascended to heaven. I am often amazed how in tune people can be to unseen forces….if they just let their guard down to stop, listen, and feel …nature will reveal that all things small and huge are very similar in design and intellect. Thanks for the teaching…. I do believe in integrated strategies like assigning roles in social situations so people can gain new perspectives and see how much of their personality is really a facade. Nothing in the universe is ever lost and that which doesn’t serve us propels us to what we need. 😊

Thank you so much! This is personal, but think that I understand the deeper meaning now. According to what I've been told, I was physically abused by my dad at 2-5 years old of age. But for some reason I have no recollection of anything. I remember some facial expressions in church and waiting in the bedroom afterwards, for instance... In my 20's a pshycologist told me that I have a gift to block aout the negative experiences.... I am now 58 years of age, and still I do not remember any of the so called negative experiences. As an adult I can almost recall everything that happened to me from the age of 10 years. My dad admitted his abuse and we have a strong bond today. Sometimes I can't stop wondering why I do not remember, but then again I am so very glad that I do not remember! I do not know if my feelings towards my dad would change if I do start remembering. I love him to much, and believe that he repented.

Spiritually, circumcision of the heart is what Rabbi Jacobson is referring to, a realm of growth humans have limited capability to address, unless ruach hakodesh is engaged to reveal the blindspots each soul and heart has developed into surrender, as Prophet David wrote, as Jesus taught, blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs us the Kingdom of El. St Paul wrote of this in his letters to Rome and Thessalonians. And Jeremiah states this concerning, there is none righteous, no not one. Each mortal is contaminated by sin from without and within, we need Salvation from above, not mortal efforts hindered by its damage that cannot heal itself, but Thank Elohim His salvation is now here, revealed over 2000 yrs ago where purity and Innocence, righteousness was hung on a cross for all to obtain grace and mercy to be released from the effects of sin.
I sit here, sabbatical within, in His Rest He revealed on the 7th day, a foretaste of Olam Ha-bah! Blessed is The Eternal.

Dear Rabbi, I wonder, have you ever read the Quran? Isn't the bridge from heart to heart formed through meeting and getting to know each other? While we have common aspects such as believing in the one and only Creator and serving Him, shouldn't we work to not idolize politics, governments and actions? I wonder if GOD is pleased with the actions of those who are on a mission to enlighten societies (especially religious figures) in the events that are taking place? Please ask in your conscience? Pray, is the process going towards God (GAZA ETC...)? Then let's see what comes to your conscience... Then we will not twist the Torah and establish rules that are not in the spirit of the Torah! I wish you and religious figures and Muslim religious figures like you sound mind. May our Lord show ALL OF US the right path.
