- Hello everyone!! I am so sorry I disappeared...my last upload was Blondie's Call Me (which was blocked here in the U.S.). Shortly after releasing that video I made a move to L.A. which has been exciting- although Los Angeles is a lot more quiet than usual right now! Anyway I got settled in enough to record and wanted to get something out to you all as soon as possible. This song has been requested of me probably more than any other song. I hope you like my version, and I'm so happy to be back here with you all!! WOW! This kid can really belt it out. She sings loud and strong without losing her tone. Very few singers can cover an Ann Wilson song and pull it off with such skill. I'm impressed!
Many singers make the mistake of trying to cover an Ann Wilson song, Ann is so remarkable that trying to sing her songs reveal your shortcomings as a singer and actually make you sound bad.....this is NOT the case with Sara....EXCELLENT job!! Bravo!!

@@milesromine9960 You haven't heard Floor Jansen sing this song? Ann Wilson once said a long rime ago there's only one other person who can sing this song, a metal vocalist named Floor Jansen. She just recently did a cover with just a piano.
Why is Sara not a star above all stars? There is not a style she cannot do. Her pitch, tone, timing, energy, passion is spot on everything she touches. She should do her own songs and multi platinum, Grammy you name it is hers for the taking. Amazing talent

I think Blue Bayou was the 3rd song I heard you sing, but before it started my thoughts were, that this will make or break my being a fan of yours. That is because to me, Linda Ronstadt's version is the benchmark. Sara, I am a fan.
