● During the 2024 Finali Mondiali Ferrari at Imola circuit we had the chance to record the all new 2025 Ferrari F80 Hypercar in action! With 1200 horsepower, this is the most powerful road-going Ferrari ever created; the F80 combines a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 petrol engine with a hybrid system like the one used in the Le Mans winning 499P. In this video you'll get to see and hear the car in action during its global dynamic debut.

@@Mark-fc1xw perfect? Nah, they r not, hypercar should be the pinnacle of Ferrari performance and it should have a soul to it, its a huge mistake for Ferrari to release the 12 Cilindri before the F80, that’s why people r hating on the design, Ferrari hypercar use to be unique looking, now just like a copy of the 12 Cilindri but more aerodynamic, second, V6 from the lemans cars sound epic to some fans, but u have to accept that its sound like a vaccum machine, not like a mighty hypercar with a v12 roaring in it. There is no more “soul” to the car as the technology take the slot, agree that Ferrari still have other model to fill the gap, but for now, L for Ferrari to the F80.
@nguyenngocvinh2253 This is the pinnacle of Ferrari performance. It's the fastest ferrari road car in history, and it looks nothing like the 12Cilindri idk what ur on about (just cuz of some black paint?). It's extremely unique looking, I haven't seen a ferrari that looks like that with that massive cool looking spoiler, no pointy nose, and curvy doors with right angled fenders. Heck even its aerodynamics and MGU-H are derived from F1. F1 has received a lot of criticism for using V6s, and I can see why, but that's the future, and we'd like our road cars up to date with the pinnacle of motorsport. V12 was 1995. We've moved on from that phase long ago. It's history now.
@@Mark-fc1xw You dont know what youre talking about, and certainly nothing about motorsport. First off V6 is only what F1 is based on because of regulations to keep complexity and therefore cost down to allow more people to buy in. Ferrari certainly isnt doing it to make it cheaper to buy, theyre doing it for packaging because its hybrid. You should also know it's certainly being limited on power by the exhaust, but thats okay because their main customers are people who get bothered by the sensational noise of a v10 or flat plane v8, me personally I call them geezers. Anyway though no matter what you do quieting an exhaust will always reduce power at high rpms. Period. Perhaps not by much, but then for someone who claims "real ferarri fans are all about power and speed and this is the fastest" id imagine that would matter, when the whole debate is based on the fact that the CAR SOUNDS BAD.

FXXK EVO sounds like thunder 🏁
lack of sound is probably due to noise regulations, even the 12cilindri with the na v12 was pretty quiet on the outside because ferrari had to abide by the noise regulations. The F80 was probably, like the 12cilindri, engineered to sound louder inside than outside.
Also the drivers don’t want the v12 sound in a road car anymore. They want performance sound is for the people who rent lambos in Miami not people who own these hyper cars
they both sound way better then this vacuum cleaner
and other car makers still produce cars that sound like something
this is not acceptable for a low production run high end hypercar
I can guarantee you, here in Italy the government doesn't enforce any sound restrictions.
Source: I'm fucking Italian. Literally NOT ONE SOUL within the Italian govt ever said "oh ye. We don't like v12, too loud. We want your daily driver city car"
What they did here with the F80 is just... Horrid. Under every single aspect. They *decided* to engineer the car that way. Even after the concessions they've been provided by the Italian govt regarding emissions and road legal aspects. Ferrari is excluded from pretty much all road emission tests and modern "standards" when it comes to these low production, highly limited run cars.
The govt literally lobbied and went out of their way to make sure ridiculous EU imposed rules didn't apply to Pagani, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati and a few others for very exclusive and low number production vehicles.
@@Artiick it’s not sound restrictions. The EU has particulate filter requirements in the exhaust. It’s why the new Porsche GT cars, Ferraris, etc are quieter. The emissions filter muffles them heavily. GM won’t be releasing the best corvettes in Europe because they don’t want to redesign the exhaust system for that filter.

Jeremy once said, when the Ferrari F1 team is doing badly, their road cars will be amazing...
Right now, Ferrari in F1 is doin' good and it shows... this car is hard meh
Wait, so 1180 horsepower out of a hybrid V6 that revs to 9200 rpm, with a potential 0-60 time in 2.1 seconds, and has put down a lap at Fiorano that is just behind the FXX-K on slicks is meh?
@danieldickerson4838 Yep... and you wanna know why? Because numbers aren't everything.
This car is hard meh because it doesn’t make good noise?
Some people don’t like the way it looks. Doesn’t mean it’s a MEH car.
What matters most is how it drives. You don’t even know how it handles on the road. Once people actually start DRIVING IT, then we can judge whether it’s good or not. But at least on paper, it looks extremely nice. Again, the fact that it’s barely any slower than a non-road legal FXXK on slicks tells us that it’ll be a monster
@gavcom4060 Not just a noise... the looks are also meh for Ferrari and especially for LaFerrari successor. Let me put it this way...
Wanna know how proper halo car is supposed to look and feel and sound like? Look at Lexus LFA. Absolute peak of engineering and driving experience that looks like nothing else from Lexus, yet you recognize it as Lexus immediately. The same goes for LaFerrari, P1, 918 Spyder etc.
This is like 296 GTB and 12Cilindri had a honeymoon, and we got no NA V12 nor the awesome design of the 296. You can have a car that handles like heaven itself and have technology from space, but if it has soul of vacuum cleaner and looks like from GTA 5, it is MEH and will forever be. Tbh ,why car's v6 or inline 4 don't sound like motorbike's one which just is like f1 like
@@shiraishi1 It could. I believe because you'd need to make it fast-revving and high-revving and these high RPMs take more to make them reliable. You would need higher end materials, engineering, and whatnot. Picture a highly reliable school bus or 18-wheeler or even a diesel generator. It's a low-revving turbo diesel motor. Once you demand that sort of high engine speed, there can be reliability issues. F1 motors need to be rebuilt after a race or two. Same with top fuel. You can get a GMA T.50 which I think goes to 12,100RPM, but you will pay about $3M. They could've and it would've been cooler.

Amazing how every car that went by in the background sounded better
I don't think Enzo would have liked nor allowed a Ferrari with no sound, let alone the flagship car. Impressive car still yes, but its a car without a soul, and there is nothing italian about that. I'd totally get a GMA T.50, Valkyrie or Koenigsegg over this.

Exactly what i thought

Even the 296 sounded way better than that. Where tf is the engine noise? A 900hp V6 shouldnt have an issue making noise
Im assuming that besides the fact its a hybrid assisted V6 that the regulations on sound etc are hitting this car in a major way. Its an SF90/12Cilindri mixed with that SCG-003.

@@hiperformance71 100% agree with you. If people ever start to say that this design is growing on them, its because they are convincing themselves that Ferrari hasn't ruined his "Super" series.

Ferrari goes from F40 to F50; biturbo V8 to a V12. Then kept the V12 in the Enzo, and LaFerrari. Ferraris flagship hypercar should always be a V12. The V6 can remain in their little F1 cars, and have all it's performance for the track. Just like the Enzo, Laferrari, etc, the owners typically don't drive them on the track, they have their RACING variants. E.g. FXX... Additionally, Ferrari chooses to put a V12 in their SUV, where they could've put a V8 birturbo, or even their favorite engine, the V6 apparently, but no. They put a V12... in their SUV. And now? Their hypercar gets a... biturbo V6... here's my favorite part; people are ACTUALLY mad at me mentioning this, because they favor the V6 because of its F1 technology, yet they seem to not have the mind smart enough to comprehend that nobody gives a rats a** about their V6. Ferrari shouldn't even have a V6 in their line up. Not even F1. F1 as a whole, shouldn't have a V6. And again, I clearly don't care about two things; 1. That the V6 is "better" performing. 2. Your opinion. Ferrari, to me, failed. Despite all the performance capabilities, nobody needs 1000+ hp on the road, you can even use it. And most love revving their cars. The V6 ain't it... If you have a problem with my opinion, please feel free to KY.

It’s called EU regulations, you can’t have loud cars anymore + they have to be emission compliant (which reduces the noise). The engine this car has does make a good noise, when it’s not restricted.
At least the Lambo sounds nice in the background
im just glad we’re still getting cars like this, so sick of seeing suvs everywhere i look
The engine sound, or lack thereof, is a function of the European Union noise regulations and not a deliberate effort by Ferrari to quiet the car.
It's crazy that the EU doesn't have anything better to do besides silencing our ICE cars.
Absolutely anemic sounding engine. The exhaust flaps opened and it didn't get any louder.
LaFerrari Button >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
They could have designed anything and that’s what they’ve come up with….dear god looks only a mother could love
i like a lot of the car…this gives me a lot of the aesthetic reaction i had to the g80 m3, the lines while nice didn’t have a cohension and character that made bmw and this case ferrari unique…i think itas a whole feels hard-pressed and tense…and has a certain sadness about it, lost some emotion in pursuit of technical perfection…certainly the numbers for the competition and technology are higher than ever and i think the trend of even MORE extreme is certainly ready for an inversion…i personally am in awe and yet i really just want ferrari to keep making those ever so special cars that it’s always been known for…i heard a 488 on the street recently and gosh what a emotional and moving noise..that character will always be in my heart and ferrari will as well for that…still looking forward to see more of this car, it’s definitely a big change in the auto industry right now and sometimes transition times aren’t smooth…anyway i’m enjoying the car regardless, especially seeing it drive. it’s still a ferrari to me regardless of the criticism
The sound matches the design
Is it electric? Lmao
No it's a 1200hp V6 hybrid
@@CARFREAK_07 i know i know, im just joking because it sounds like nothing
@@blip8918the prototypes sound wayyyyy better.
@@blip8918 lol 😂
Just make 2000hp EV instead
SP3 Daytona is the real Big Six car.
exactly this...
What a car! Tech is at a 120%! Ferrari at its best! And the engine , though smaller, still makes some noise! I can't wait for the new holy trinity!
it looks incredible in yellow
I love this car really 😊❤
Divide the 80 in half and you get the best Ferrari EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
100000% true🍻
Underwhelming is an understatement
I bet 99% of the commentors1 on this channel come back with a second opinion. This deisgn is set for the the future and will age gracefully. Beautiful automobile Ferrari !
It's sounds like sh*t it won't be remeber fondly
Nice and quiet. That's how I like my EVs. How is it on fuel economy? What's the EMPG?
That sound maybe opsional package in this Ferrari 😂😂😂
3:25 It just needs to be way louder in my personal opinion (around 3-5 times louder) @Ferrari #Ferrari #F80
This might be the only car that if Mansory tunes it, their haters will accept their Mansory Ferrari F80 build 🤔
Voilà une hybride qui me plaît. Ferrari fait toujours de magnifiques voitures, elles s'améliorent de plus en plus au fil du temps
Great sound
For the same money or less, I would buy a Jesko... More beautiful, more power, more sound, more everything ...
No melody
No pleasure
Haters gonna hate
@@yunseosextras et les idiots des idioties 🙋♂️
It's funny how Ferrari decided to put a V12 in its stupid SUV but for their new hypercar that's supposed to be the LaFerrari successor, they decided to use a V6. I know that this V6 is from LeMans and it's a cool engine but come on, if you are going to make a successor to one of your greatest cars, at least do it right.
Those race cars in the background sound awesome 😂😂😂
Ferrari is a different level this car is beautiful 🤩
Bro got jokes 😂😂
No way man, can't. Must be amazing to drive but this movement less is more or do more with less just tired of it. It's about the emotion of sound, V8's are great V10's are glorious but a V12 is sacred.
People don't understand how amazing the sound is from inside, it's drivers focused I drove 296 and it's sound inside is better than majority of V8s even, F80 takes it to whole another level
of disappointment 😂
@@Neale78 you are broke you will never experience it from inside otherwise your mouth will stay open whole time how good it's
@@Neale78 You are broke you will never understand these stuff
@@Neale78 You broke you will never understand, go play Forza
Thats cap bro nothing can make you feel so alive as the sound of an angry v12 with a proper exhaust from Novitech.
It's a Ferrari, and I would still buy one regardless of the sound.
No it's not
Bella
Guess im a bit more of an optimist here. I am looking forward to more reviews of this car. I think the flagship emotion is there, just a bit differently than ever before... just like every single one of their flagship cars throughout history. For all of the haters riding on the nostalgia train, i would genuinely love to see you build something better.
Plenty of manufacturers have already built better cars by ignoring the hybrid fad. This is the top tier pecking order car of the lamestream. Every new car is hybrid or electric now.
Buyers of this car will seal it away to appreciate whilst they take the V12 out to drive
Couldn’t be more disappointed
If only the LaFerrari replacement was a 1200hp SP3 Daytona…
The editor cut out the sound of the car? :D:D

gotta admit while i love the design, having it be literally as quiet as a full EV is freaky. # FREAKY
"It has winning le mans" My Ass !!
