But some of the other like to keep that helm on extra tight.

Ser Harrold was a true knight. The embodiment of bravery, chivalry, loyalty and honor. I hope we will get to see more of him in S2 when he is about to join Rhaenyra's queensguard.
In the show I wonder what they'll do with Harold Westerling since in F&B he had actually been dead for over 10 years before the Dance. Im not familiar with the actor playing him, Graham McTavish, but he looks great in the role and I hope they essentially do something with him. Especially because he looks pretty cool, the character is honorable, and he's like 60 years old and is super jacked
He's had many roles in his career among them he played Dwalin in the Hobbit movies and was also in Outlander.
Graham McTavish is a very well known actor. Many people were shocked when a man of his calibre took such a small role.
I get the feeling that they may have him join Rhaenyra's Queens guard as Lord Commander and they will give him many of the feats Steffon and Lorent do in the books, having him die as one of the "7 who rode".

@@rasheemthebestfirstone3274 There is no spoiler in what I said. I have said they may merge his character with two other characters and that they could kill his character in a future event that, if you have never read the books, you will know absolutely nothing about.
I haven't mentioned anything that happens to any character. I have guessed something they could do with a character who is long dead by this point in the book.
I think it's pretty obvious he's gonna pull a Selmy and link up with Rhaenyra at some point in the next season and most likely die honorably at her side in S3.
The fact that Gigachad- Davos has little mention in the lore makes me excited. Showrunners can just make his as honorable and badass as they want.
I'm so glad you arw giving us so much Dance of The Dragons lore!! The show is doing a good job of telling the story but their is so much left out of the show. There is so much on this time of the history of ASOIF keep it up!!!!
Ser Criston Cole is a violent brute but is also capable of charming and devoted. A True Knight! Insulting a Knight's liege-lord is a bad idea.

Robert defeated the one on one combat against the prince in the battle of the trident.
Sandor Clegane isn't a knight but he fought toe to toe with his brother the mountain. Also the fact Sandor clegane fought against Beric Dondarian whom wield a flaming sword and defeated him.

Fell of the kingsguard was a green , yet in the episode lady fell was a black , yet house fell is a stormlands house, sworn to house baratheon, she really shouldn't have been there , and its obb she chose differently. Or that the chioce didn't have more serious consequences than her life , double treason , the family should lose the lands and title no ? It was probably just a mistake Easter egg .
The Greatest Kingsguard ever is Aerys II’s Kingsguard. Arthur Dayne, Jaime Lannister, Barristan Selmy and Gerold Hightower. I don’t think any of the best Kingsguard members from any other Kingsguard could stand against Barristan or Jaime, let alone Arthur Dayne.
Any member of aerys Kings guard could take on the night king if they have a valaryen sword

Arthur Dayne also is the only knight amongst the kings guard to have fought with two swords

The greatsword Dawn was forged from the heart of this fallen star and has possibly been wielded by Daynes for ten thousand years. The sigil of the Daynes depicts the white sword and falling star.
Dawn is lighter and stronger than valyrian steel which is why its so interesting and yet when it comes to arthur dayne Dawn isn't even the main focus, when Arthur dayne went up against the smiling Knight who was the equivalent of the mountain in that time the smiling Knight asked that Arthur dayne puts down his sword and use a regular one because it wasn't fair, Arthur complied and proceeded to kill him with one regular sword the quote that follows is sth like this "little did he know ser Arthur dayne was the real steel"

@@maxb8749Criston Cole would be bodied by any of the three mentioned. He was the best of *his time* when most men hadn’t seen war. You put him against Selmy, Jaime, OR ARTHUR FREAKING DAYNE who have literally lived it their entire lives… and he’s nothing more to them than what Jon would be to Clegane. A decent fight, but killed in every scenario.
Man I would really love a prequel series on Jaeherys' reign. To see Jonquil Dark, Ser Joffrey Dogget, a young Ryam Redwyne, Ser Gyles Morrigen etc.

Except for that time Ser Harwin Strong put Criston on his back, and could have easily killed him if other people hadn't of intervened .

It's funny how in this cut-throat backstabbing world a guy who lives to be 69Y/O is considered the "Old King" and someone who lingers on. LOL.
I mean to be fair he was crowned as teenager, so the dude was a king for practically all that time. Also there are quite a few characters we know of who lived into their eighties, nineties and I think maybe even a hundred: Walder Frey is probably in his 80s or 90s, so is Old Nan, and Maester Aemond had to be pushing a hundred when he died.
From where Dragonstone stands...is Grover "Neeeaaaaaar", or "Faaaaaaarrrr? Only 80s kids will forward....90s kids HATE him.
