    Great video. What made you slow cook rather than pressure cook or steam roast? I have the cosori multi cooker. And it has those functions you used plus pressure cooker. Just no air fry. Do you have a separate AF too? I have two AF. Wondering whether a truly need this 15/1. With two air fryers and a pressure cooker/ multi cooker to choose from!
    What function do you use the most?

      Hi, I just enjoy slow cooked meat. I have pressure cooked beef too which works so well.
      I don't have a separate air fryer although I would like the new Ninja one!
      I probably use Pressure Cook and air fry the most but I'm experimenting more with steam bread/yogurt/dehydrate etc.

      @@VenomEvsCOD no it doesn’t as you’ll have the lid down. It’s the same when you slow cook gammon you can have no liquid added and moisture will come out of the meat. It still goes lovely and tender.

    I watched another review that said the ninja foodi isn’t amazing to use as a slow cooker compared to pressure cooking. I need a new slow cooker and ive never owned a pressure cooker/slow cooker/multi cooker before. I want one so I don’t have to use a separate pan to sear and sauté before slow cooking. I love that the ninja foodi has so many functions, but do you think it’s just as good as a stand-alone slow cooker?

    • @susannahskitchen
      @susannahskitchen  7 месяцев назад +2

      Hi, I haven’t had an issues with the slow cooker. I think people say it takes longer to cook but I generally put things in for a long period of time anyway. I love all the functions, pressure cook is my favourite. Like you say you can sear/saute then slow cook. I like that I can pressure cook then grill for example. Using several functions sometimes for one dish. I’d buy it again without question

      @@gillianbeck9121 mix 300ml semi skimmed milk with 4 eggs. Sift in 250g plain flour and whisk to remove any lumps and create a smooth batter. Season well with salt and pepper. The key is having the fat really hot so when the batter hits it, it will very quickly start to rise. You can half the ingredients if you want to make less

      300ml of milk, 4 eggs, 250g Plain Flour, salt and pepper
      It makes a difference if you use alternatives so I find the best recipe is with semi skimmed milk, 4 medium/large eggs and regular plain flour
