After using the 11” M4, I think I’ve made the choice to stick with the 13” M4. The difference in weight is not all that noticeable, and the extra screen size is awesome to have! Adding a skin to the iPad makes gripping it a lot easier as well, I felt it was slippery before.
I have had the iPad Pro 13 with the new Magic Keyboard since it became available in Mid May. I truly truly truly truly love this device. It has replaced my laptop completely. The improvements to the Magic Keyboard alone is worth the switch. And the beautiful OLED display of the iPad Pro is a game changer.
I agree with everything you say. I've noticed in particular that various RUclipsrs have gotten the 11-inch iPad and then spend a lot of time in their reviews explaining why the smaller one makes more sense than the 13. You've put it back into perspective for me, because all of your reasons for the larger iPad apply to me as well, and that's why I also opted for the 13-inch model. The size is impressive, especially when working on videos, and wonderful to work with. I also find your calm demeanor in the video very pleasant. Not as hyperventilating and constantly agitated as many others here on YT.
When you use an oled device - there’s no going back. Its screen is immaculate to say the least. You’ll never gonna wanna watch aside from an oled ever again.
I totally agree with you. I’ve always work with a 11 iPad Pro, but with the thinness et lightness of the 13” M4 iPad Pro, this will be my next iPad Pro for sure. What I really like is to be able to work on a entire page on a pdf document in its real size, so much confortable
Just got a 13 inch M4 iPad Pro myself, with Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro - looking forward to unbox it. Had an 11 inch iPad Pro from 2020 before but with my usage and experience, I felt a 13 inch would be better by size, and now with the new display, I’m glad I waited till now to upgrade. Thanks Faiz for your video, really helped me feel confident in my choice ☺️
Honestly i think the both the 11 in and 13 in are great devices this year. I have the 11in I thought about getting 13 but i have 13in MacBook Air and it works well and very functional for me the way i needed, i wanted a machine to do regular streaming and be able to be useful for when I’m on the road and needed to check my emails and put jobs in my dispatch board and honestly this 11in works well for me. It fits in my purse so easily with the Magic Keyboard so very good for me. I like the fact is fits in my purses so easily. It’s all personal choice and what you want just like anything and what you’ll be using it for. Love the review :) for everyone who has one hope you all enjoy which ever one you choose like i do 😊
I had a iPad pro 11” since release, and I thought it was a nice device, quite amazing and pretty powerful. But this new one it’s basically like tech jewellery from the future. The level of refinement is astonishing and I salute the engineers to be brave with the new chips. Got the cellular version and 3 days after got the chance to use it fully as I worked a half a days work on a long drive with the sun hitting the screen. I couldn’t believe how compact yet usable the 13” keyboard is, and the fact that I can keep it on my lap without heating is also a game changer for me. Part of me wishes that we could get MacOS on it, but at the same time I love the direction the iPad os is slowly going towards, it’s like a futuristic OS that is still very very capable. Still in the honeymoon with this device and I can’t recommend it enough to people who want a swiss army strong yet capable computer.
I went with 13. Had an older 11” which did not get the mini led screen. I wanted a bigger screen for media consumption mostly but I’m seeing a big benefit just from reading online, books, and having a full size keyboard.
I have, use, and love both. They are tools. If I’m traveling with a heavy workload I carry the 11” with a MacBook Air. But if I have a light load and I’m on a weekend trip, etc. I’ll throw my 12.9/13 inch in my bag. Because I have the cellular versions I can work wherever without connecting to any strange WiFi. Great video!
Currently have the 13’ M4 iPAD Pro with the Magic keyboard for a week now and I been comparing it with my 2020 11’ iPad Pro. The bigger screen is amazing for browsing the internet, I been wanting bigger screen for a while now for some reason, but using it handheld such as gaming is a bit harder though, is not as comfortable as the 11’. Still deciding if i should i just get the 11’ M4 IPad Pro so its more portable but i really like the bigger screen hahahah. The magic keyboard is amazing but i want something that hide the keyboard when i dont need it. Do you carry both apple folio and magic keyboard when travelling like in planes?
Agree. Had the M1 iPad Air 10.9” (with only 64GB memory) and upgraded to the 13” M4 iPad Pro. The 13” iPad Pro with its new Magic Keyboard is remarkably light - just slightly heavier than the M1 iPad Air 10.9” with its Magic Keyboard. I like that it’s easy to hold in 1 hand, like you mentioned in the video. Have you noticed, though, that the aluminum of the Magic Keyboard can rub against the bottom of the 13” iPad Pro when it is repositioned?
great video! Have you noticed eye fatigue when using the 13 inch iPad Pro? This screen flickers at 480 Hz because this is how OLED display adjusts its brightness.
I’m 100% paralyzed on my entire left side with multiple sclerosis. Zero function in leg, hand, fingers etc., I chose the 13” M4. What were the downsides to the 13 inch for you and with your disability?
Have you stopped using the iPad mini completely? I have the mini and the 13” M4. I find going back to the mini is much more noticable with the screen quality diffrences, refresh rate, and the mini not having Face ID (better experience compared to touch-ID).
Hey, good video. If you haven’t already, I believe you should make a video explaining how you were able to get the iPad to replace your MacBook. Not everyone can do that due to their profession and the programs they rely on, so what apps, tasks, and possible workarounds do you use to make your iPad your main computer?
some professions cannot replace their laptops with iPad. But for most people and few professions esp in business, real estate, admin work, artists, simple vloggers but with way more viewers/subscribers than laptop-using vloggers...ipad pro is enough and way better and more fun to work
Nice review and agree with your opinions of the device and the improvements. The keyboard is a little frustrating because has some brilliant improvements but the “balance” issue is a shocker it is so easy to constantly tip over if don’t rest palms on it. Like you content mate thank you
Compared to the folio keyboard the Magic Keyboard is a breeze to use as you can recline the screen to rebalance some of the weight. Apple should definitely include an option for users to select from a round click vs arrow click. Really wish iPadOS would transform into macOS with the keyboard but seems like Apple doesn’t want to cannibalize it’s Mac sales

The display is overhyped on the M4. It’s technically better but not dramatically better, not something you’ll notice on day to day use. Also the sound is better on the thicker M1 and M2. The best thing about the M4 is really the light weight. You really notice it in your bag and it makes you want to pick it up more often
I agree with everything. I came from the m2 and the first thing i noticed was “i thought this display was supposed to be way better. Why is everyone gushing over it?” Even in dark environments. It didnt really seem any different. The speakers immediately sounded “off”. But hey…the one thing i do think people were right on is how crazy thin it is. It’s noticeable to the point i want to pick up my 13 more. The new keyboard is much better as well. Overall, worth it for me
Disagree about the sound. I upgraded from an M1 and the sound is definitely better on the M4. I do agree that the display is not different enough to gush over.
@@smullis7 it’s pretty much universally agreed the new speakers are a down grade so it’s interesting to hear you think they’re better lol the second I set it up and started listening I immediately knew what the reviews were talking about.
Much flatter less full sound then the previous iPads probably due to making the speaker chambers smaller
But I’m glad you’re happy
I really love my 11" M4. Just wish that battery life wasn't sacrificed for that thinness
The 11 inch M4 battery has a 10% larger capacity than the thicker M2 iPad Pro 11 inch. So it actually lasts slightly longer than its predecessor.
@@Donuts-rw2if True, but it's disappointing if you have an M-series Macbook with its amazing battery
Do you not think that the big screen makes it so hard to read because your eyes have to traverse across the large screen
It actually makes it easier, and depending on which app we use, we can make the paragraph shorter.
Did you just close the app when you were trying to scroll at 3.25 😅
Apple users will say thats innovative
Thank you for a great video ,i will trade in my macbook air 13inch that i bought 2018 and i knew its old 😂 and i will buy an ipad pro 13inch wifi this week 🤙
I love my iPad Pro m4
50% through the video and haven’t heard any break through reason why YOU love the NEW IPAD M4 PRO. I myself have the same set up and coming from IPAD PRO 2018 notice the brighter screen which is one of the reasons I decided to upgrade. Comparing the speed to my previous IPAD PRO I don’t see or feel that much of a difference. Bench Marks BIG difference but day to day use I don’t see it.
OLED Display, thinness/lightness, new Magic Keyboard… all exclusive features that makes me love the new iPad Pro. Mentioned it all my friend.
Awesome 😎 now do reasons why you don’t love the iPad Pro 🤣
Hahaha
funny cause mine feels safer in 1 hand being thinner, lighter but I get scared once I'm using 2 hands like its gonna fall on me easier, so I think he's right now its a magical tablet, all 3 are magical now completing the circle. 😂 everything magical now but my first ever 13" 1tb black. all 3 black, put a skin on pencil astronaut standing on moonscape front 1/3 by blue rubber tipped point, other 3/4 scene of moon and planets and thats just the pencil pro skin, oh boy here I go a dedicated lifer on my new pad.
I love it 😊
Did you buy silver iPad because your white home? Or did you you buy your white home because your silver iPad? Jkg. Love the iPad and your beautiful house 😊
If its just consuming content, the Ipad pro is overkill lol
I agree
It still just an ipad anyhow 🤣 user don’t need updates ipad what exactly need is update IPadOS to use as computer software and smartphone in one device 😂
