Lyrics
If you like to gamble, I tell you I'm your man,
You win some, lose some, it’s all the same to me,
The pleasure is to play, makes no difference what you say,
I don't share your greed, the only card I need is
The Ace Of Spades
The Ace Of Spades
Playing for the high one, dancing with the devil,
Going with the flow, it's all a game to me,
Seven or Eleven, snake eyes watching you,
Double up or quit, double stake or split,
The Ace Of Spades
The Ace Of Spades
You know I'm born to lose, and gambling's for fools,
But that's the way I like it baby, I don't wanna live forever
,
And don't forget the joker!
Pushing up the ante, I know you got to see me,
Read 'em and weep, the dead man's hand again,
I see it in your eyes, take one look and die,
The only thing you see, you know it's gonna be,
The Ace Of Spades
The Ace Of Spades

@@nuxvomica21 They're simple lyrics, but not simplistic.
You are wrong. Motorhead is talent not prodigy. A dirty bass played like a rythem guitar with vocals that don't fit any kind of choir bullshit. Just pure honest lyrics written from the writers heart and left open to interpretation to the listener and simple musical compositions dirty and load with borderline abuse on the tube, speakers and instruments with a vocalist any voice coach could trash but it's raw, soul bearing, energy transference to the audience and true to life and not faked, trained or refined. Just dirty overloaded tunes and a non classical trained voice and pure raw talent and basic music theory pushing the boundries.

You know I'm born to lose, and gambling's for fools
But that's the way I like it baby
I don't wanna live for ever
And don't forget the Joker!
Pushing up the ante, I know you got to see me
Read 'em and weep, the dead man's hand again
I see it in your eyes, take one look and die
The only thing you see, you know it's gonna be
The Ace of Spades!
The Ace of Spades!
Ha!

THNX FN' MOTÖRHEAD!!! \m/
🤘🤘🤘🤘
They are Motörhead and they play Rock an Roll.
WOW, I remember when I met Lemmy, once. It was back in '81 in Wichita Falls, TX. I was with my girlfriend in a diner and he walked in with a girl. I remember I was so shocked and I was so scared to go and talk to him that my girlfriend got up and did it. End of the story: me and my girlfriend ate with Lemmy and that girl. Best day ever.
your girlfriend's great
What was Lemmy like personality wise?
Cool
Who dares wins....great story.
Wow
Back 4 Blood - Thank you for making me listen to this after a very long time.
What mission does it play in?
@@jasonowens4941 act 1 where you have to defend the bar for 5 + minutes. It's random music tho. If you are lucky you'll get ace of spades:D
@@Traxixxxx The very first one that plays is always Ace of Spades lol.

@@jasonowens4941 Bar Room Blitz. You have to use the jukebox to distract the zombies so your allies can evacuate the survivors on some busses.
When this played in Back 4 Blood on the jukebox I almost died
fr me and my cousin started screaming
First reaction was "LEMMY!"
This and black betty even though the latter was a cover ..
5 times i made this mission to help few friends
5 times i had it it was a ton of fun to unload my AA12 Magazine in this endless horde
I was Started to sing with Lemmy in this Situation at the bar, My members ask me " ey yo, you okay?" 😂
Lemmy was a hell of bassist as well as a front man
Friendly reminder that this band is responsible for influencing black / thrash / death metal so the the entire extreme metal scene owes this band their careers
I mean, it wasnt just motorhead, what about black sabbath
@@alfiewilliams2331 while I love ozzy. Black Sabbath sounds like a jazz band compared to motorhead.

@@trentosborn4242 ...alright, bro - and we can see the same with, for example (instance;-)) KISS / URIAH HEEP....etc. ! May I ask where you live? - I'm a German :-)
I always stand by what makes a good rock/metal tune is one that no matter how many times you've heard it, at some point in the song it makes your hair stand on end
This is the best analogy I've ever heard and I'm stealing it, thank you kindly

this song makes me fill like i was in the middle of the battle of stalingrad, fighting a bunch of zombies, a gigantic dragon and a drunk russian guy in a robot.
Was this also part of a german plan perhaps?
@@MikeDutchVlogs Sure it was
Best RUclips comment I've ever read.
Bro wtf
Lol
I like Motorhead the Ace of Spades.
I actually played this song at my wedding. I know it was a weird choice but it was the first thing me and my wife's father ever bonded over.
Hey man you do you. It's you're wedding. Let the others play whatever they want to at theirs
He apparently gambled on his marriage, too. Hope he and you both won.
Who is in their 60's listening this in 2021 smiling and thinking of good times when we were young?
67 years old here! I am so damn happy I lived in the era of Motorhead, Led Zeppelin, ELO, Steppenwolf, Black Sabbath, and all the other rockers! Still listen to hard rock every chance I get and make no apologies for doing that! Rock On!
13 years old I am the teenager who watches the young ones
"THIS WAS PART OF YPUR PLAN RICHTOFEN?!"
"Not exactly"
There! he's got a parachute.
Pull the reserve!
My ears are still somewhat deafened by the absolute full blasting of Motorhead (Long Beach Arena) with some guy running through the halls screaming something that no one could hear! Even right next to him! Dio opened and Iron Maiden closed out the show. Wow! "Memories pressed between the pages of my ear(s)!

Whenever I misplace my headphones, I blast his at full volume. There's something about this song that's so much louder than any other song, even at the same volume. Love it.
You'll end up deaf and won't be able to enjoy music ever again - be careful!
@@moi3557 I think he means that he blasts the song so he can find out where he placed his lost headphones. He obviously turns down the volume once he's wearing them
this song will never die

I’ll sell my soul to revive it
Unlike the band members💀
Motorhead died but their songs won't
they're just rocking out in the afterlife now lol@@Brash_Candicoot

@@libertyprime619 it's ALL rock and roll. As Lemmy described his aim: 'concentrate on basic music: loud, fast.... speedfreak rock n roll'.
