    Hello Jack, thank you so much for all the informations. Love your videos. Just a small note regarding the videos: your practice-pad is unfortunately very loud in relation to the voice. I almost can't understand you when you're drumming at the same time. 🙂

    Great vid. Richard M. and I would discuss the differences between Murray/Dick’s approach v.s. free stroke during our lesson. Your clarification nailed it for me. Your book is terrific as well. Cheers from Canada.

      @@halashmore there is nothing free about the free stroke, it will charge you the penalty of tension in your arms and shoulders for holding and catching against the pull of gravity. Happy to hear you liked the book.
      If you are interested in Funk drumming, I just posted a new book to the Apple bookstore called Instant Funky Drumming. It is a virtual funk groove playground with which you can create thousands of very funky grooves. The material can also be programmed into drum machines and break dancers could use the rhythms for their moves.
