- OK so this isn't really very halloween-y but it is my villains being cool so i thought it would be a fun thing to post today. I rushed it a bit to get it out today but I'm happy with it anyway! hope everyone has a safe and happy halloween!

it hasn't been overwhelming or anything but i have gotten a few comments about it so i'll pin this: NO, these characters are not undyne, or related to undyne or part of any undertale thing. These are my original characters! I love undyne's design and won't deny that there's similarities, but a lot of that just comes down to them both being blue/grey fish people with red accents.
Sorry if my comment made you post this, i was trying to imply that we should appreciate your character's unique designs and not toby fox's character designs. i think my favorite villain is the seal-like one on the left :)
@@SwizzleDrizzl don't worry, you weren't!! i got a lot of other comments outside of yours about the mermaids looking like undyne :) i don't mind it all that much since they do definitely have design similarities but i wanted to make it clear for those who aren't channel regulars/don't read the description or community tab!

This was beautiful! I especially loved how Nymph was the only one that ended up showing any use of magical powers, giving him a sense of mystique and edginess. Boy, do I love me some edginess.
Thank you!! Admittedly nymph is the only one to use powers because I haven’t decided how mermaid magic looks/acts yet but I’m glad it works!!

edit: please stop saying these characters look like undyne or alphys or whatever. that's not what i meant by my comment and its rude and disrespectful to continue to say that. I meant that at first glance the middle one looked like undyne, but there's crazy differences once you actually look at the thumbnail.

Undyne has a really good color palette 😭😭 I tried making my mermaids more grey than blue but unfortunately the resemblance is still there

Or they are just some kind of squad that patrols the sea for the lols? i figured mermaids would probably have something inbetween flippers and hands, with rough skin on their hands to help them grip objects underwater, like sea otters! their hands aren't as dextrous as a human but they can craft and use tools and hold objects and stuff
