I keep coming back to watch this because I’m a sucker for good animation, but the deeper meaning of this really struck me this time? The part where Butterscotch is expressing his doubts and being told no by other voices, and then starting to repeat the “no!” to himself is deeply reminiscent of what I’m learning right now. I just started college and I’m surrounded by all these new people who are actually calling me out on my negative self talk, and ever so slowly I’m starting to say “no!” to my doubts myself. One day I hope I can sing and bop like Butterscotch at the end, who sees to have let go of most of his worries, but until then, I’m going to have to practice saying doubt, no.

I love how when at 2:00 the character was doing a different motion than the background but the timing was the same as how the background motions timing was so it looked really really nice! also, the overall animation and editing is really put together. I could really tell you put a lot of effort into this it just looks so nice!! also, the overall idea is very creative and I think it fits the song really well! also the biting animation is just o nice to look at. and I love how the emotion changes in the beginning and end it really adds some realism in a way and makes the overall idea just creative and nice! your animations are really nice and unique and I love watching your content no matter what it is!

I am again mind blown by your use of color and contrast via background + character in your animations; you could always make a neon-ish background really fun and this time is no exception. The first part of it is really reminiscent of old 2016 animation memes (which I love) and then the first lip sync portion of "Doubt, No" plays with the movement synched to the song SO WELL and includes character acting with the change of expressions- it's really ALL I LOVE in animation. It is so satisfying to see the music, background, movements and character come together in that sequence. Second lip-sync after that is... just a REALLY GOOD lip sync. You've managed to make mouth movements look really authentic! Love the walk cycle after that, it really drives home the "vibe-y" feels. I was absolutely mind blown that you included a SECOND version of a lip sync for the "Doubt, No" Part. SO MANY people wouldn't have needed to go the extra mile but YOU DID. And again for this one the mouth movement is REALLY AUTHENTIC. I love the eyes changing every time they open. You've brought back a great bit of character acting again and using the first "Doubt, No" sequence as a backdrop in the background is so resourceful and smart. It's, again, really lovely to see how this all syncs to the music. We end, again, on a section that screams "2016 ANIMATION MEME". This is so vibey! I was really calm and relaxed watching this and I just love the way Butterscotch (?) moves, its one of the first animations I've seen where it's a perfect balance between a less than realistic style and very soft realistic movements (if that makes sense). I really love it and to top it all off some lovely effects and I am in love with this transition 01:20
