I live 10minutes from lake galena. There are tons of white perch in the lake. Some get huge. My son caught one that was almost 15”. It’s a tiny lake and can be very very tough to fish. Pretty cool Leo!!

There are some Largemouths closers to the spillway, but the further you go down the creek the more Smallies you'll find. This is my usual fishing spot, there a few times a month. Can get some decent smallies there.
I grew up fishing that creek further down, smallmouth, largemouth, rock bass, bluegill, green sunfish, pumpkinseed, redbreast sunfish, carp, bullhead catfish. There are no perch in most of Neshaminy Creek, nor crappie (people confuse rock bass for crappie often).
I appreciate fishing videos on areas that more realistic to get to and do on your own without needing tons of equipment. If you would like info on some excellent areas to fish in NYS, I would be happy to suggest a few. Out of state license costs in NYS are fairly reasonable.

Landlocked Atlantic Salmon (Salmo Salar Sebago), the best native Brook Trout fishing in the country, and the only place to find native populations of landlocked Arctic Char (Blueback & Sunapee Trout).

hey helo i love fishing spillways too, my favourite one is a public spot but no one goes there but above it is stocked with lots of fish so in heavy rain the stocked fish are forced into the public spot :)
Leo, do what I do and go to Berkley's website and order several gulp and powerbaits from them. I swear by them now, I use the crickets, worms, nymphs, everything and to great success. Rarely rebait and always have them in my tackle rather than having to always buy fresh bait. I've caught large bass and catfish even on their 1" minnows while panfishing with a size 8 hook.
Leo i dont live in america but i fish in the uk but i find your videos very intresting to watch . In the uk we catch carp , roach , tench ,rudd, perch , bream and trout . All of them are we catch on maggots or worms

And I'll keep on sayin' it, but get yourself up to the Pine Tree State aka Maine. Landlocked Atlantic Salmon (Salmo Salar Sebago), the best native Brook Trout fishing in the country, and the only place to find native populations of landlocked Arctic Char (Blueback & Sunapee Trout).

hey helo i love fishing spillways too, my favourite one is a public spot but no one goes there but above it is stocked with lots of fish so in heavy rain the stocked fish are forced into the public spot :)

Leo, do what I do and go to Berkley's website and order several gulp and powerbaits from them. I swear by them now, I use the crickets, worms, nymphs, everything and to great success. Rarely rebait and always have them in my tackle rather than having to always buy fresh bait. I've caught large bass and catfish even on their 1" minnows while panfishing with a size 8 hook.

Leo i dont live in america but i fish in the uk but i find your videos very intresting to watch . In the uk we catch carp , roach , tench ,rudd, perch , bream and trout . All of them are we catch on maggots or worms
