If I have a low end home but a high end dream, can I still have it? ;)
Thank you for the review. Wonder when more grinder companies will come out with non drilled-through burrs.

I got one eureka grinder ATOM 75E but the description on the box works at 50 Hz, is there a problem with that if it runs at a frequency 60 Hz

Is it practical to use this doseless grinder in a quite busy “Grind and Go “ cafe

Hi there! I wouldn't recommend this for espresso in a busy cafe. It would work well for pour overs in a cafe, though!

Thank you Mr.John for that video it is very helpful, I need your opinion for home using, Atom Pro or Atom 75 for just espresso using.

Hi there! The Atom 75 is more user friendly than the Pro, but the Pro does have slightly better grind quality for espresso.

@@johnholmquist9277 Hey John, someone above asked but didn't get a reply. Could you do Turkish coffee with this grinder? Thanks for the answer.

Atom Pro if your brew different methods and Atom 75 only for espresso, I currently own both...

Thanks for your video. I was wondering which espresson maker is all metal inside. Many fully automated machines the brewing units are made out of plastic. I am interested in getting all parts made of stainless steal only. Any suggestions?

Mazzer or Mahlkonig would be pretty much all metal. I got a Eureka Mignon and is heavy for the size and very quiet.

Hm...retention seems on par with my time-based Specialita. Not sure the upgrade makes sense, especially if I'm weighing every dose.

Hello thanks for the great review. I understand from this video that the ATOM PRO is actually a very good choice for expresso, especially for light to medium roast beans. Eureka clearly markets this grinder for brew methods and on their website, they even exclude it from the "expresso oriented" grinder's list. That leaves me very confused !!! Do you really advice buying that grinder for expresso, though you mentioned it, one has to like fine tuning around the settings, but that's what I/we do anyway since I/we buy plenty of different origins coffees, different roasts...
The burrs are very specific on this grinder and buying it against the brand's orientation is some step forward. Can you please comment on that ?
    Many thanks in advance.
    Nicolas

those burrs look very nice. Unfortunately it is a pity that they look touching unevenly on two sides.

The reviewer puts in 22.1 grams of coffee at about 4:30. He gets 21.6 grams out, says "let's see if we can get the rest of that out," pumps the bellows, then checks the result and just says "we got a little bit more" without even revealing how much. Later in the video at about 7:10, he grinds 20 grams and at first doesn't even say how much he gets out. Even after using the bellows he only gets 18 grams, so 2 grams = 10% retention. This is not exactly a ringing endorsement of the effect of the bellows.

You’re right but as he also mentioned once the grind setting is set the. The retention becomes much less .2 - .5 if any...I own both Atom Pro and Ayón 75 but will prefer the pro. Just more brew method options.
Get a niche grinder for zero retention 👍🏼

By zooming in you can see on the Acaia that he got 21.7 or 21.8 (it keeps jumping back and forth) out after pumping the bellows at about 4:30 and as someone else pointed out he was pumping the bellows with the bean gate closed (not sure if that has an effect, but would think it does)
