Just discovered your channel this week. Love it. Am also liking that you are not 5'7 160 lbs as I am not a small guy. Wish you would do throttle only top speed tests. You earned a sub! ☺
One of the best reviews I seen yet. I put in a campaign order for the Green one with rear rack and battery bag on June 1st. The Campaign says shipments will start in July. I too prefer the thumb throttles, because I have big hands and that twist throttle is not what I want to be grabbing when handling rough terrain. I have converted my Lectric XP, by moving the twister to the left side (in-board, with a cramp buster on it), and really only use it to get started peddling at stops. I also have bought a Polarna M5 & a ViTiLan i7 Pro, which are my speedsters with thumb throttles. Your review on this bike hit all the specs I wanted to know about, to which I very much appreciate your professionalism. I'm really excited about getting the Mihgogo NX, and really can't wait. The helmet you advertised, is pretty cool too. Keep up the great videos.👍
Thank you for the kind words! I am glad you found value in my review. It's a fun bike to scoot around on and I am working with them right now and should be doing another video talking about some of the changes/improvements they are making to the NX.
@@scotthardesty I have had to change the cassettes and freewheels on all 4 of my e-bikes to 11-32T to get a reduced ghosting on the top PAS speeds. The Polarna & ViTiLan are 8-speeds and still needed the 11 tooth to get some resistance in pedaling in top PAS. I've also changed tires to street worthy ones which helps on noise and rolling resistance. The three 20 inch folding bikes I have, have different power levels of motors which gives me a variety of rides when riding them on my 15 mile loop. The Lectric is a 500W @ 50 nM, the Polarna is a 750W @ 80 nM, and the ViTiLan is the HOSS at a 750W/1100W-peak @ 85 nM, and was programmed for wheel popping acceleration. I have outfitted all my bikes with dual battery capacities, active together. I can get two 15 mile rides out of them using the higher PAS speeds before recharging at between 25% to 40% after the second ride. They are a old man's great way to keep things circulating. 😁
I have had my NX for a couple of weeks now. Motor is virtually silent now. Road tires are very quiet. Helps the handling, too. Battery mh could be better. I'm going to see if I can change the cassette for better gearing. I ghost peddle all the time and only use motor power. Very fun to ride! It is a real head, Turner! Bang for buck is very good! Similar equipped E bikes cost $1000.00 more.
Great review; you've made this ebike one of my top 3 contenders for my 1st ebike. And since both of us are 220 pounds, I feel that this review was totally geared towards me. Ps: you got a new subscriber.
I just bought this bike the review on this video doesn't adjust the bike is beyond better with pedal assist does 32mil max speed and battery does quite some miles at the end of the day you don't get this bike to take a trip to another country. The bike is super solid thick structure only thing is need more attention is the suspension has to be lil softer. Also thump booster is better then throttle.. another thing is my motor is super quiet maybe because you have a prototype they used a different one

I asked Mihogo what wheels will ship on the Nx to US and answer was spoked wheels like the 4.0 with Kenda Street Tires. If you look on their website, the model will ship like the 1st picture in the list of pictures for the Nx. They will not be shipping the 3 spoked wheels. Further, they indicated the 1st shipment is due to arrive in US in 10 days.
This bike does seem perfect for me. Compatibility (storage on my boat) Height, I'm 6ft 7. Weight, I am 280lbs. They stopped including an extra battery in all their e-bikes. Just some now. Customer service says it was a site error… but that was a major selling point of these bikes for me.
