The Interceptor is heavy, but i bought one and i'm loving it. It has a great character, and i think that the engine has a lot to do with it. I tried to decide between the interceptor and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, but the sound alone made all the difference. Btw It is especially a good bike for a tall person (I'm 6"2/188cm)

First of all look at the protective gear our people are wearing doing tripple digit speeds, Setting wrong examples. All speed runs should be done with the rider swapped as well. This makes it look like rider skill doesn't matter at all.
I can cleraly see interceptor getting closer and closert towards duke at its top end but at that time the rider has slowed his duke and declared duke as winner but if the race still last longer then I can clearly see interceptor will beat down duke ...

The 650 is admired for its refinement and oodles of torque delivery, it's a different bike below 4k rpm n a beast above that rev range. The KTM is a fighter, a proper hooligan, it'll drive you crazy and to tell the truth , i love both the bikes, they are spectacular on their own grounds. you simply can't compare apples n mangoes.

It's never about speed. It's about feel. the feeling you get with a twin is way different than the duke. And the fun you get with duke is way different than the interceptor.
In my point of view both the bikes are value for money ( it’s all about how u shift and ride. Weight always matters) Int650 has big advantage is engine is a gem other hand 390 is vibe engine but it’s quite manageable as compared to 2015 model. 390 feels energetic Both the engines give same efficiency INT 650 Hard riding can give 16-18kmpl. Normal riding 24-27 kmpl D390 hard ride 18-20kmpl Normal riding 25-28kmpl Difficult to choose one u don’t go wrong either of these two bikes
What duke is sports bike and Royal Enfield is cruising bike.. !! So both are very different .. Take a race with Yamaha R3 vs Kawasaki Ninja 400 vs Duke 390.. Then only know which bike is better ok ..

It depends upon the rider weight, and also rider riding techniques. The guy who was riding the interceptor 650 in the first two rounds seems to be less confident about both the bikes. Did not push either of the bikes properly. So in this race video it is really difficult to determine which bike is faster in a Drag Race.

Weight of the RE guy matters. Bike is heavy & rider is heavy as well. When they switched, RE showed its real prowess.
