As a UK citizen. I’m ashamed to say how awful our train systems are compared to Japans. We have dirty trains, they don’t always run on time and have so many rude and noisy people on them too
In Japan everything and everywhere is spotlessly clean. There is no rubbish or litter on the floor or platforms, the trains are spotlesss outside and gleam with paintwork and class. It’s so so quiet too. Everybody respects each other’s space. This guy has a great sense of humour which is refreshing on a journey such as this when there’s no talking. Still those bullet trains are impressive, they obviously leave dead on time too. Both meals looked good too. I bet he took everything and put his rubbish straight into a bin aswell. Total respect and admiration for this country’s manners 👍🏻👏🏻

Some 15 years ago, I took the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto. I couldn't figure out where the train was but people were very kind and pointed me to it. I had a seat in a car completely empty. The thing flashed by homes and rice paddies. I noted the great variety of greens there are in Japan. Loved the ride. On the way back, I decided to save a few bucks and bought a cheaper train only to find it stopping at every hamlet and town. I decided to pay for the Shinkansen but had to get off, take another commuter milk run, but finally got the train on the East coast of Japan. The moral of the story: don't be cheap. Pay the fare and enjoy.

@@phoenix1453 Enjoyment of cityscapes are subjective. I haven't been to Barcelona or Paris personally, but they look amazing and are places I'd love to visit one day. Is Tokyo boring to me? Not at all! The metropolis that houses a multitude of districts all with their own distinct vibes, it's amazing!
The energy difference between Harajuku and Shinjuku for example... Is addictive. It allows you to seek the experience your crave. Do you have this kind of experience in other cities? I can say for certain, it's sure possible! I've felt it in Hong Kong, Seoul, my home town Melbourne and even Singapore... But that's the extent to my experience so far
To calla city boring though, especially a city the size of Tokyo is quite ignorant and a pretty harsh blanket term.
I think if you find Tokyo "boring" it's more of a reflection of you, as a person. Not the city. ❤️

Regarding not seeing Mt Fuji: I‘ve been to Japan so many times and have never seen Mt Fuji. Not from the train, not from the Sky Tree, not from Hakone, never. I‘m convinced it is just a hoax and there is no Mt Fuji - just paintings of a volcano that never existed.

There was a some to impress trains. And the seats look comfortable hi. I think you should start a Tik-Tok and the Instagram. Because I would love to see the videos on there too.

Wow I would love for The Netherlands to have actual high speed railways. As it could solve our housing issue, allowing people to live further away from their jobs, giving people the chance to live where they live and blitz to their destination.
