Hey there! Thanks so much for your honest feedback, we really appreciate it! You're right - the disadvantage to felt pads is definitely the wear and tear. For those looking for minimal to no maintenance, we recommend checking out our magnetic resistance bikes! Since it’s a magnetic brake and its pad doesn’t touch the flywheel, you won’t have to worry about wear and tear, replacement, or any friction-generated noise. Thank you again for this awesome video and have a great weekend!

Great video just this past Monday seven December I got a call to reschedule delivery from a Pelaton I finally got a hold of them this was the second time they rescheduled so basically I finally just canceled so now I’m looking for the next best that will deliver sooner than later thanks again
Hi. I bought Pelaton bike+ yesterday & it says 2 wks & under. But I found out that it’s over 6 wks delivery. I returned; feel like their dishonest in their presentation. Which bike did you choose instead? I was looking into Nordic track?
I am back here paying closer attention to this video. Peloton just canceled my delivery again. Ive heard many complaints on how peloton is handling delivery, warranty and other problems.......I will be cancelling my order and looking for a cheaper bike and tread. So, once again, I appreciate your videos.......I need them now :)
I ordered the bike and the thread on September 30 th......first no show / no call on delivery date 11/13, rescheduled for 12/07, rescheduled for 12/29. Peloton is definitely not trustworthy
Peloton Owner for almost 3 years. I just had a conversation with Support Leads yesterday. I am getting my SEVENTH bike in March - yes SEVENTH bike swap. They had to compensate me 39 months warranty for the cost of the 12 months warranty. I ended up getting 7 months of free subscription. I told them yesterday that if my account represents what is wrong with Peloton - then Peloton will fail and fail spectacularly. I don't own the Bike+ but I pulled the plug on that in October after having second thoughts. I feel your pain - trust me. I feel it.
They will have to assimilate the Precor purchase quickly to make up the ground they've lost in their disasterous rollout of the Bike+. There are so many options out there - the Stages SB Bike is now out and available to order - I'm looking at that one long-term. I don't think the Peloton bike can handle the volume I give it. It's really too bad because I would bleed the brand but really I'm the one bleeding on the opporrtunity cost of the purchase. I lost out on better opps. I can't even sell the bike I have now - something has happened wtih the frame after a year + where the seat and the handlebars are no longer straight - and ergonomically friendly. That means another bike swap.
Theodore Boosalis, thanks for your reply. I asked and got some credit for all the trouble, and I haven’t cancelled the bike yet, but definitely don’t have a good feeling about Peloton anymore. I am on a wait list for a concept 2 erg bike , and still looking around, Another option is a sunny bike. I started using the peloton app for running, and found that the classes, something I was excited about, well, for me personally it is a little annoying to have an instructor speaking non stop.... so that’s is a con Also, all the fuss and talk about Peloton, with owners raving about it like a miracle super bike, well, all of it in a way reminds me of MLMs companies such as LuLaRoe. And I honestly am having a hard time trusting this company will stay strong, it feels really messed up from how they are handling delivery schedule.
@@vvcc1450 It is messed up. I've asked that my account's issues get moved "upstairs" as a discussion point about what needs to improve. Even if you discount the delivery times on an order right now - the bike doesn't hold up to the volume I've given it - since I've burned through 6 bikes. It's a great idea and brand - but yeah I think 2021 is going to be a choppy year for them if they can't get all of these issues reduced to a bare minimum. Since you were going to spend some serious money - take a look at the Keiser latest M3 or Stages SB: stagescycling.com/us/stagesbike/ I will be looking at getting that bike later this year - once my Peloton warranty runs out (finally) and no more bike swaps can occur.

I really like your reviews. You are one of the few that keeps it real and deliver more information, no nonsense. great guide. Would love to see more bikes being featured such as the bodybike, stages sc series, and ICG IC7/8 bikes. Now that prices of bikes are very similar to commercial studio grade bikes, it would be cool to see how they compare with budget bikes.
I wish I had seen more videos like this prior to my purchase. I would have paid more attention to the flywheel weight and the available extension on the handlebars and saddle. My bike is good, but I feel I could do with just one more extension hole for my optimum riding position. But now it is up and running, I am making the most of it enjoying tapping in to the many free classes on RUclips. If I do it again I’ll be much better informed!
What have you done?' I collect LEGOS and have heard that exact comment before when UPS arrives in front of our house and unloads a big box. Your videos are great. Thanks so very much for doing your videos and sharing.
Thank you for this! Super helpful video. I have tried searching for bike comparisons for months trying to decide what to purchase but all I kept finding is comparisons of models with subscriptions, which I do not want. I'm grateful for your video showing several types of bikes I had been curious about. I purchased the Schwinn IC4 today and found your videos after, but your videos are helping me feel secure about this decision. I purchased a Joroto on Amazon a few months ago and the pedal and the crank stripped by the fourth ride and it become completely unusable. Their customer service was great, but the bike quality was terrible and I was so disappointed; I have since been afraid to take the plunge and try another option. These videos help! Thank you!
Since I've been digging deep into your videos, I've found a gently used Sunny B1002. The seller said it was "broken" but it just needs a new belt. Do you have maintenance videos for simple repairs like this? Have you replaced a belt using a correct sized serpentine belt? I'm about to see if a $10 belt is worth the headache I'm about to jump into. 😂
Great review. I'm contemplating getting an indoor bike due to the pandemic, but even after watching this, I'm not sure which one would be for me. Sure, I would love the Peloton model, but I can't substantiate the high cost. At my age, I'm just a casual rider for fun and fitness. I subscribed to your channel, and will check out the videos you have done on each bike separately. Much mahalo!!
So...the question we all are asking ? So which bike would you buy as a Peloton alternative if your budget is $500 ? And then if your budget can afford more is it worth spending another $400 -$500 for the Scwinn IC4 or are you better off saving the money & using it pay for more years of Ifit, echelon fitpass or Peloton digital!
Imo the peloton subscription is what’s deterring me from buying one.. like wowza I’m in Canada so it’s like $50 a month on top of the 3k it would cost me for the bike. Plus they don’t deliver to my area, I’d have to find an address in a bigger town and intercept the delivery guys lmfao So I have the same question as you.. which one do we get then lol I don’t need one with a screen.. I can use my iPad which is collecting dust somewhere for the screen.
in my opinion, after reading a ton of specs on several types of bikes, the Sunny bikes (I prefer the magnetic resistance and a monitor) would be the best option for that budget, but I splurged for the Schwinn IC4 due to their extra features (i.e. bluetooth) and for their better return policy and warranty.
When I watched this video I assumed you would rank all these bikes. You told us the Peloton is number one, how are the other bikes ranked. Are you keeping it a secret?
@@elizabethf3022 how did the IC4 treat you? I’ve read so many reviews of the pedals and axel or something crapping out after a very short amount of time. Some like 10 minutes. I want to get one but not pay $800 for a broken bike after a few uses
Watched most of you videos multiple times to help me decide which bike i want. was interested in the Echelon but its sold out everywhere :( thinking ill go with the joroto instead
Great information! But Echelon Connect Sport is £800 in the U.K.! The other brands in that price range don't seem to be available at all in the U.K. I wonder if anyone can recommend a source for comparable reviews for brands that are available in the U.K.?
When I had a Peloton I was disappointed at the leaderboard (a lot of cheaters) and the exorbitant subscription cost, but found the classes and instructors excellent.
I don’t know about the bikes but what I’ve read is that the classes and community culture are very different. The Soul classes are more dance style and dont have the same variety as Peloton, like no Powerzone. And Peloton’s groove classes are much less dance-like than Soul Cycle. But Peloton’s culture is more progressive. Also Soul Cycle has a partnership with Equinox gyms so that’s kind of cool - if you’re a gym member you don’t pay the $40/month soul cycle membership fee. I wish Peloton would do that
@@elainevegan5386 I ride at my local studio at Cyclebar which is similar to soul but they do count the metrics like speed distance all of that while dancing on the bike! I'm so stuck on which to purchase.
Great reviews! I went ahead and got the echelon connect, I watched alot of your reviews between that or the costco profrom. Only question I have is what ipad holder attachment is that for the echelon that you have?
Love your channel! I’m 77 and looking to spend no more than $350. Leaning toward Sunny but will you be reviewing the Pooboo? Also confused over Magnetic vs resistance pad.
I love your reviews - so helpful! Thank you for making them :) Random question - I want to buy the echelon sport connect in the UK but hear it has a 7kg flywheel which seems like it wouldn’t provide much resistance. Did you have any problem with max resistance on yours? Do you know if yours is also 7kg? I hear the Walmart version has a heavier flywheel and now I am just confused 😂
Hi , I really need help , i was about to buy the eshlon sport after I watched your video about it but my husband is a big guy , he is 6’5 and weigh 260 pounds, and you mentioned at the end of your video that as a tall guy you didn’t feel comfortable!!! Which bike would you recommend? This is for home and the purpose is losing weight and making legs stronger, also i need the ipad holder
I’m 6’4” and weigh 210 and my echelon connect sport is comfortable at 1 notch below the max. The echelon app has improved a lot in the last few months as well and the live runs are a blast! Hope this helps
As an older exerciser (75) with some back and neck issues, I need a more upright riding position. What's out there for someone like me? My very old Lifecycle has died.
Great alternatives to the Peloton. Why is it such a big thing to be able to slide the handles forward and back ? Even the bike I used at the gym didn't have that feature. Doesn't being able to slide the seat forward and back take care of that ? Thanks again for the videos ? Looks like you need a bigger apartment :)
In some ways it does, but ultimately it's "proper" to be able to move the seat to the exact correct position to align your knees with the pedals correctly, then independently move the handlebars to a comfortable position. Thanks Bill, figuring out the space thing lol
I havent been able to find a video on it but have you tried a yesoul g1m plus bike? Just ordered one for under 400 and seems pretty awesome.havent gotten it yet but alot of positive reviews
I've very out of shape and not skinny. I just started walking and a friend is giving me a recumbent bike that she came across (haven't tried it yet) but I'm confused with the 'regular' indoor bikes that are upright - regular or spinning or are they the same?! is there any benefit for a beginner to have a recumbent and a spinning bike? just watching you standing up peddling exhausts me LOL! I was looking at a $300 yosuda on amazon but you were talking about the important metrics being power, cadence - and I was thinking miles would be good as I'm doing some 'medal' races that go by miles LOL!
I’m wanting to lose 20 or so pounds and long term continue cardio and exercise. should I get a spin bike or a treadmill or something else? Any recommendations thanks
Looking for advice for a bike that allows the rider to sit up a bit I have wrist issues - the forward pitch on the low handlebars puts too much strain on them. The am short, 5’4”, older, and prefer a wider seat. Thank you!
Which would you recommend between the Joroto X2 and the Sunny 1002 in terms or ride or quality? Not worried about any extra features just the bike alone.
That's a really tough call, it's really a question between physical or magnetic resistance and how much max resistance you need, and also adjustability on handlebars coming forward and backwards...
Academy Sports has a ProForm Tour De France CTC Studio Bike for $799. It looks very similar to the Costco ProForm bike but it has 22 digital resistance levels, an attached 10" touch screen, built-in cooling fan, and 3lbs. dumbbells. Considering your thoughts on the Costco bike, what do you think of this one with those additional features for that price? Thanks.
Would you by chance have a "Best" Screenless Spin Bike list? Exploring options on avoiding getting locked into one platform or the other (iFit vs. Peloton) so maybe BYOD to use either or (tablet stand, etc.) Also -any chance on reviewing the Bowflex C6, Pro-Form Carbon CX, Pro-Form Studio Bike Pro, or the "new" Pro-Form Studio Bike Pro 22? Love your reviews, by far the best ones I've come across on Spin Bikes for a first-time buyer. Keep it up!
I’ve read on reviews that the Joroto isn’t good for ppl over 6’. I’m 6’1” ...do you find it ok since you’re even taller? Thx! Great video...watching it again so I can finally make a decision! 😅
If the left pedal comes loose that is because in manufacture they screwed-up. that was supposed to be cut 'reverse thread' I had this problem with a cheap cycle I had about 15 yrs ago.
TailHappyTV Hi! Can you confirm that all of these bikes have standard pedal threads? I would want to swap out the standard pedals for my clip ins. Thanks for your help!
I really liked the video. Just want to know which of these bikes do you recommend. I'm 6 feet tall, i want o track cadence and such and I anticipate using the peloton app on my tablet. I can't afford the peloton, that's why I'm exploring other options. Thanks
The left pedal of my IC4 came completely off. My new crank arriving on Friday and I bought new pedals. Apparently the issue is the left pedal is slightly than it should be and strips the threading of the crank.
Fantastic video man! You mentioned that the max resistance is a weak point for the Echelon bike, how does that compare to the others in this review? Would you say that it's average within its price competition?
I have not reviewed any bikes in that range yet, but may have one coming soon! The schwinn ic4 is good for $900 if you can find it in stock at that price. Hope this helps. A few hundred more and you could get a standard peloton bike if you dont mind the monthly membership fee.
@@TailHappyTV don’t want to deal with buying the shoes and all! Maybe I could do 1500 I just want a bike to ride, one that I have a trainer or someone to encourage me! For myself and my husband We are in our 60’s and want to be heart healthy! Appreciate you writing to me
Hi! Have you ever tried the Inspire IC1.5? Just got one in Costco for $419 after $100 off. I used it for today and was very happy with it. Would love to see it in one of your reviews.
Outstanding! Simply outstanding video. Totally cleared any confusion. Made it simple stupid for anyone. Will so use your link at the bottom. Keep up the video. Would loved to see in your top 10 accessories for a spin bike. A must have vs must want. A good, better, Best.
I’m looking to buy a bike and have been watching your videos to help me decided. They are very helpful! What are your thoughts about friction vs. magnetic resistance? I used to take Spinning classes at the gym and those bikes were friction resistance (Spinning Star Trac bikes). But those bikes are too expensive. I have been researching about bikes a lot. I have never used a magnetic resistance bike and am weary of them because I read that they feel different. Such as a flat road is not resistance free and that max resistance is not as much as friction bikes. But then there is the “quiet factor” that makes magnetic bikes appealing. I was thinking of getting the Sunny SF-B1002 because of the price, but reviews often mention it’s not great of you are short (which I am - 5’3”) and handlebars are not 4-way adjustable. So now I am looking at the $600 Schwinn IC3 and Sunny SF-B1805. One is magnetic and one is friction. Do you have any thoughts? Any input would be helpful. Thank you!
Magnetic resistance is great, better feel. I want to get a sunny magnetic bike like the 1805 or synergy, only downside is price and max resistance on some bikes. Hope this helps, I have more on the sunny on my channel
Joroto X2 is definitely one the best DIY option with magnetic under 600. I got the bike for abt 400, a Wahoo Cadence for 39, Peloton App for 13. Sunny mat for 99.
Amazing summary! I've been looking at the Bowflex C6 or C7 as well and would love to hear your opinions on those bikes. Particularly compared to the Echelon Connect Sport! The Echelon is out of stock at the moment, and I'm debating on if I wait for it to come back in stock or if the Bowflex is worth the extra expense?

in my opinion, after reading a ton of specs on several types of bikes, the Sunny bikes (I prefer the magnetic resistance and a monitor) would be the best option for that budget, but I splurged for the Schwinn IC4 due to their extra features (i.e. bluetooth) and for their better return policy and warranty.
What would you say comes in 2nd after peloton?
Thanks for an amazing, comprehensive and informative presentation. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Watched most of you videos multiple times to help me decide which bike i want. was interested in the Echelon but its sold out everywhere :( thinking ill go with the joroto instead
Both are good, fingers crossed amazon restocks soon, if you are a costco member you may be interested in the ex4s, it's a nice feeling drive train
Walmart still has the Echelon Connect Spot. Ordered one yesterday, scheduled to deliver Wednesday.
Great information! But Echelon Connect Sport is £800 in the U.K.! The other brands in that price range don't seem to be available at all in the U.K. I wonder if anyone can recommend a source for comparable reviews for brands that are available in the U.K.?
Would you buy a used Nordic track or peloton? Or, is the software becoming an issue with the older models of these bikes?
When I had a Peloton I was disappointed at the leaderboard (a lot of cheaters) and the exorbitant subscription cost, but found the classes and instructors excellent.

great video, what would you recommend for a non-peloton but with a built in screen?
Awesome video! Thanks for all the info!
Thanks for watching :)

Thank you so much for this comparison video. It was incredibly helpful
Thanks for this, I was wondering if you have reviewed either the C7 or C6 Bowflex bikes?
What would you recommend for a warmup bike? Longest I’m looking to go is 30-45 min

Thanks for the comparison.
Your videos are great. Could you do a video comparing the echelon ex 15 with the proform from Costco. Which bike is better
Can you compare the soul at home bike and peloton?
Same question that holder with the gooseneck is awesome .. please tell me or share link for Amazon will buy through your affiliate link!
Love your channel! I’m 77 and looking to spend no more than $350. Leaning toward Sunny but will you be reviewing the Pooboo? Also confused over Magnetic vs resistance pad.
Explains the difference ruclips.net/video/jrodsRdEQRM/видео.html
What would your suggest for a newbie rider
Thanks for all your reviews. Any plans on reviewing the DMASUN bike?
I have TIEM shoes and my husband doesn’t have spin shoes. We just bought the Joroto x2, what pedals do you recommend? Thanks!
I love your reviews - so helpful! Thank you for making them :)
Random question - I want to buy the echelon sport connect in the UK but hear it has a 7kg flywheel which seems like it wouldn’t provide much resistance. Did you have any problem with max resistance on yours? Do you know if yours is also 7kg? I hear the Walmart version has a heavier flywheel and now I am just confused 😂
check out the drive train section here ruclips.net/video/sfZUYsJjilk/видео.html
i dont care about the console or apps i yes want a good bike with real ride experience, and prefere micro resistance what you recomend ne for that?
Will you please tell me what tablet holder and tablet that was in this video with the Echelon bike? Thx

What bike would u go for
what is your favorite indoor bike that doesn't have a screen? I just want a good quality bike. thanks
Great review, comed in very handy as Im shopping right now.

Why no Sole SB-700 review?
What do you think of it?
How do you not include bowflex?
Schwinn ic4 is sane as BowFlex c6
Is Peloton the only bike that automatically adjust the resistance? That is important to me. Are there any other bikes that provide that feature?
Any tips for a short newbie? I am 5'1" and am looking to purchase my first bike.
Hi, Which bike should I buy for best value approx budget $600. Hubby a keen cyclist. Any guidance please
Looking for advice for a bike that allows the rider to sit up a bit I have wrist issues - the forward pitch on the low handlebars puts too much strain on them. The am short, 5’4”, older, and prefer a wider seat. Thank you!
New to indoor biking but ramping up to begin riding. So do tell what is a leader board??
I love my spin bikes quiet.is magnetic resistance better than a bike that uses a brake pad.
Trying to decide between the Bowflex C7 ($799)Echelon 3($699) (both on sale at Dicks) or the Echelon connect($499). Any thoughts?
Why no review of the BowFlex C6 or C7???
Dang, you're a giraffe too :) I think you'd be fine on it
@@TailHappyTV 🤣 Yes, yes I am! 🦒🦒 I appreciate the quick response! I’m excited to get it!
Great video. Keep pushing out solid content.
If the left pedal comes loose that is because in manufacture they screwed-up. that was supposed to be cut 'reverse thread' I had this problem with a cheap cycle I had about 15 yrs ago.
I'm 6'6" and wondering if the Schwinn ic4 adjusts enough for my height. If not what do you recommend?
Have you reviewed the Concept 2 Bikerg?
TailHappyTV
Hi! Can you confirm that all of these bikes have standard pedal threads? I would want to swap out the standard pedals for my clip ins. Thanks for your help!
I wasn’t going to buy a bike until I see this
I really liked the video. Just want to know which of these bikes do you recommend. I'm 6 feet tall, i want o track cadence and such and I anticipate using the peloton app on my tablet. I can't afford the peloton, that's why I'm exploring other options. Thanks
check out my review on the echelon ex-15, it is back in stock again recently and its a great bike. hope this helps.
The left pedal of my IC4 came completely off. My new crank arriving on Friday and I bought new pedals. Apparently the issue is the left pedal is slightly than it should be and strips the threading of the crank.
In your opinion which is the best value..I like the platoon?
I think the sunny 1805 is a great value at $600 with a drive train closest to peloton vs price, I have videos on it
Did you return the bikes after review ?
Have you reviewed the Adidas C21X? On special at Costco and looks fairly good
Nice find, I’ll check it out. What location/state did you find this at? How much did it cost?
Hello! I’ve enjoyed many of your videos in my search for a perfect bike. Have you done a review on the MYX?
I'm wondering if any of these bikes works with the myx platform(bodi). Since you asked about the bike, do you happen to know this answer?
Just curious why you don’t review sole sb900. Looks good but would like to see your review of it. Thanks!
Manythanks
WOW, what a great review !
thanks Willie, plenty more reviews and comparisons on my channel
Fantastic video man! You mentioned that the max resistance is a weak point for the Echelon bike, how does that compare to the others in this review? Would you say that it's average within its price competition?
I bought the ex-15 based on your videos! Very happy with my purchase, do you recommend a particular mat for under bike?
Hello,Do you want the spd pedal for free?If u want it,please contact me.Here is my facebook:facebook.com/profile.php?id=100015567488315 thank you!
Why ignore the Nordictrack? It is the closest competitor to Peloton, with more features at a lower price point (with iFit included).
i didnt have it yet
Can you tell me what bike we should buy for our home! We have 1200? Which would you buy?? Thank you
I have not reviewed any bikes in that range yet, but may have one coming soon!
Thanks for all your super thoughtful videos! I have the same issue with the Shwinn pedal clicking. What pedal do you recommend as a replacement?
What about cup holders
Did you ever do a review on the Bladez Master GS?
Would you choose an Ic7 schwinn or echelon connect sport for a beginner making.. please help!

@@TailHappyTV Thank you. I already watched most of your bike review videos including the Sunny ones. Thanks for the information!
Please do a "Best Paleton DIY" for different price ranges, would help a lot of people!
Noted. Great idea!
@@TailHappyTV Would be amazing! As i myself look for the best up to 500 Euro / 600 USD available..
Joroto X2 is definitely one the best DIY option with magnetic under 600. I got the bike for abt 400, a Wahoo Cadence for 39, Peloton App for 13. Sunny mat for 99.
@@topanimeapparel5717 Does that hold for tall people (6'3") too?
Amazing summary! I've been looking at the Bowflex C6 or C7 as well and would love to hear your opinions on those bikes. Particularly compared to the Echelon Connect Sport!
The Echelon is out of stock at the moment, and I'm debating on if I wait for it to come back in stock or if the Bowflex is worth the extra expense?
Thanks, the c6 is the same as the schwinn ic4, check my reviews and comparisons on the ic4
@@TailHappyTV will definitely check out those videos for sure. How similar is the C6 and the IC4? Are they the same bike with different labels?
Can you use other biking apps and can you change the seat on the Costco bike?

its linked in my echelon bike review, one of the first i made
Great reviews; thank you!
