I'm struggling with mines 2nd time trying to loc but you inspire not to give up n to keep going ...this 2nd time around I realize that I need to make them smaller like u stated...thankyou🧚🏾♀️
Congratulations on reaching your two year locaversary,🎉🎈🎊 You and your locs are beautiful. I just reached 18 months loc’d and I am enjoying every phase of this journey. I used conditioner for the first time this last wash day and I loved it. I diluted it and I rinsed my hair very thoroughly, like always. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! I think locs are great and the best part about them is that if you don’t like them after a few months you can simply comb them out. I encourage anyone who has been considering it to give it a try.
Hi! My scalp is sensitive to tension and gets irritated easily. After my first set install my scalp was red and there was discomfort at the base. I didn’t experience the same with interlocking so I stuck with it.
See I wanted to have a set btw 120-140, I ended up with 100. There’s days I regret not starting over because I too like the fullness. But at the end of the day my Hair is Beautiful.
Exactly! Your hair is beautiful as is! There are days I feel the same like I could’ve gone smaller but in the end of it all our hair is not our beauty. We are beautiful just because!
Thank you! If you’re palmrolling definitely yes. With interlocking sometimes I wash the day prior and retie the next day when it’s dry and I just wet the pieces I’m ready to retie.🤗
Hi Strange Hues, I know this is not a new video, but I have a question. Does frequently touching your starter locs prolongs the locking process? I keep hearing not to touch your hair. Thank you!
Hi! I have always had hand in hair syndrome so my advice has always been not to pull. You can touch lightly but try not to over manipulate or pull the starter locs so that they can start locking.
Look sis, if you're not experiencing build up, do what works for you! Your locs are thriving and looking healthy 😍💫
PURRR 👏🏾🥰 thank you!!
Your locs are beautiful💕 And you are so right - locs are the best thing since sliced bread!!
Thank you so much!! 😊 🙏🏾
Wow. I can’t believe it’s been 2 years already✨ You and your locs are gorgeous 😍
Thank you so much love ❤️🥰

@@JaeCemma You’re welcome ☺️!
I’m 9 months loc’d. Started with 165-167 locs and now I have 149. I love your locs I hope mine look as good as yours at 2 years
Thank you so much! I’m sure your locs are gorgeous and thriving.
Thank you for your excellent presentation. Your hair looks amazing .
Thank you so much 🙏🏾✨
Your locs look great! I use conditioner as well with no build up.
Thank you so much ❣️
I use leave in conditioner, I spray them with oil and water. My hair needs moisture! My locs were so dry I thought they were going to snap off. 😩🤣
Your locs are beautiful I just started doing research since I’ve been thinking of getting locs for many years.
Thank you! I think locs are great and the best part about them is that if you don’t like them after a few months you can simply comb them out. I encourage anyone who has been considering it to give it a try.
You mentioned the palm rolling didn’t work. Why was that? Sorry if you mentioned already! (I’m typing while watching)

I'm thinking of using conditioner when I get to my one year mark. I also have low porosity fine hair
Whatever works for you. I’m sure your locs will love it.
Congrats on your 2 year anniversary! Question: should hair always be washed before every retwist?
Thank you! If you’re palmrolling definitely yes. With interlocking sometimes I wash the day prior and retie the next day when it’s dry and I just wet the pieces I’m ready to retie.🤗
Thank you. Appreciate your response. I'm 6 months in. Two strand twist and interlocking. Your locs look very healthy!❤
Thank you so much! And congratulations on your journey so far! I’m sure your locs are gorgeous ❣️

@@JaeCemma Thank you! Appreciate your response! May the Lord blessings rest on you as you go through your spiritual journey!
Thank you so much, I appreciate and receive this 🙏🏾
At what point did you start interlocking your hair?
At the very beginning maybe a day or so after I did the two strand twists.
have you been interlocking the whole 2 years?
Yes. Since the very beginning.
