Digimon World 2 Alternative is a ROM hack of the beloved and popular PS1 game, Digimon World 2, released by Grensuingo. The game aims to be a new Digimon World 2 experience for both seasoned veterans of the game, as well as newer players!
The story of Digimon World 2 Alternative has been changed to follow a similar path as the original while having a different interpretation to various events throughout the course of the game.
The overall difficulty attempts to gradually increase as the game progresses, contrasting the original where the difficulty caps out at a certain point and stays the same for the rest of the game.

Truth be told, our previous teams managed to beat Gaia, however Overlord Gaia floored us good. As a pro myself, I fast saved in the middle of the fight when Left Hand died while Right Hand was in critical. When both hands died, our damage couldn't keep up with Overlord Gaia's gimmick. Hence, I got a big hardlock.
When I loaded the game from save file, it was still on Mt. Infinity. Since it's impossible to recreate the team exactly the same as before, I grinded the fun of it without recording it. My apologies!
